Pros: Fantastic color accuracy. The out of the box color is great, and the included calibration tools make it even better. Built in KVM switch (essentially) is a nice plus. The stand it's on is fantastic too. Picture in picture. The build feels quite solid.

Cons: Expensive. Even when compared to other professional monitors of it's size. Really thick and heavy.

Overall Review: I picked this up lightly used and I've been extremely happy with it. I mainly use it for photo editing. And to the reviews that complain it's not good for gaming.. this is not a gaming monitor. Do your research.

Pros: Power, harddrive(s), ease of access with internal parts, long power cord (FINALLY asus starts including good length ones), good keyboard, asus power supplies are pretty universal among asus products (the one that came with this charges my N10j, and would have worked with my M50 if I still had it), nice construction, pretty buttons, screen hinges are VERY firm no wiggle at all, surprising for such a big screen. 64 bit OS Runs fairly cool (52C right now) Something newegg doesnt really mention: this does NOT have a 640GB harddrive. This has TWO 320gb 7200RPM harddrives in a raid 0. Meaning, it acts like a single 640, and you get GREAT performance.

Cons: Screen resoultion could be higher, no left side USB port, mouse clicker is this single button design, which causes it to be harder to click the closer you get to the middle, 4GB max ram (could be wrong about that), no smart login (has a webcam, but doesnt have face recognition, I guess you have to have a fingerprint reader), screen latch requires you to have both hands to open it.

Overall Review: First off, Asus customer service is awesome. I got this is a replacement for my M50 that I paid $1500 for a year ago. It was the third time I had sent it in (the problems being mostly my fault. thank you 1 year accidental) so they replaced it with this. They could have just sent something with matching specs, which would have been like, $1000, but they sent me this instead. Only problem with asus support, expect to spend 30 minutes holding. By opening two panels on the bottom, you gain access to both harddrives, Ram, wifi card, and the processor, which is not soldered in. Nice. The speakers sound nice, but aren't very loud. They are SRS premium altec lansing, btw. Stats and such: Only played Endwar on it so far. does max graphics. 3D Mark 06: 5792, SM 2.0: 2392, SM 3.0: 2216, CPU: 2391. Vista score.: Processor: 5.5 RAM: 4.5 Graphics: 5.9 Gaming: 5.4 Harddrive: 5.8 Decent battery life for what you get. About 2 hours browsing the internet if you're careful

Pros: Size, great keyboard, battery life is great even when doing demanding things, face recognition, fingerprint reader, graphics, HDMI, physical WiFi switch. Compatable with some other asus power adapters (my M50A's works with it.) The instant on OS is kinda cool.

Cons: no deticated page up/down keys (I have a habit of using ctrl-pg up/dn to switch through tabs.. doing ctrl-fn-page up kinda sucks), wishes it had a faster proccessor to match the graphics, but thats more intels problem for not making a 2ghz-ish atom. An eSata/USB combo port would have been cool. No 1024x768 resolution support like the eeePC's have. The PowerGear4 Enetertainment program.. when I set it to max battery life, it changes background, windows theme, and sets the start bar to auto hide.. a little excessive, not to mention that it takes about 30 seconds to do this.

Overall Review: Best bang for your buck I think anyone could hope for. I have this and a $1500 15.4" Asus 2.5 Dual core with a 1GB graphics card.. and I'm sad to say it goes days without use now. This netbook is small, gets great battery life so I don't have to lug around a power adapter, and it has a tiny power adapter (coat pocket sized) for when I have a really long day. It turns a few heads, and more when someone sees me playing Left 4 Dead on it. I can stable overclock it to 2.2ghz very easily. Vista is also a tad slow. Epically hibernating. I plan to throw windows 7 on here, possibly after putting in a faster Harddrive (which will probably help with he vista issue a bit)

Pros: Beautiful screen, good asus programs, for instance the video/image capture program is actually decent. processor+4gb ram actually manages to make vista work correctly, numpad is really nice to have. good buttons, light up touchpad with functions is nice. pretty good GPU.

Cons: Battery life is bad. Wish asus made a 12 cell upgrade, as opposed to the 9. the mode button to make the touchpad light up and serve its other functions should be somewhere other than on the touchpad its self. I've trained myself to stop hitting it, but others have that problem when they use it. HDMI port is picky about the angle the cord is in at, but that may just be my cord.

Overall Review: VERY durable. my dog managed to get his nose in the dangling power cord when I was carrying this, and basically rip it out of my hands, causing a very hard impact with the concrete 5 feet below. it got two scratches, barely noticable, and the hinge covers fell off, but they were easy to put back on, the only lasting damage is that one is now slightly loose. Not that I was worried, with Asus' EXCELLENT tech support and 1 year accidental warrenty. Very good all around laptop, if you don't mind carrying a power cord everywhere :)
