Pros: light and sleek. laptop is very slim and has a small footprint. screen is sharp and clear. touchpad isnt bad.

Cons: laptop doesnt sit flat on the four "feet". tried placing the laptop on a dozen different surfaces and it wobbles on every one. samsung customer svc told me to bring it to a local shop like a best buy to have them replace the rubber feet...at my expense! samsung rep kept apologizing without an acceptable resolution. laptop cover does not stay shut when you carry the laptop on your side with the hinge side down. the lid will open up abt 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. i expected much more from a laptop at this price point. my old Asus sits flat and lid remains closed and cost half the price!

Overall Review: samsung...read this and fix this issue. writing this review on a wobbly laptop isn't fun!

Pros: Great form factor as some of the others mentioned. Overall build quality seems pretty good. Asus live update is worthless.

Cons: Screen died after one day of light usage. I was comparing my laptop with my gf's macbook air and guess what? The screen died. Embarrassing! Nothing on the screen during BIOS or Windows startup. I had to use the VGA dongle to connect it to an external monitor. Asus customer service tried fixing the problem over the phone but decided I need to send the unit it. I decided to return the laptop to Newegg and they got me a new laptop in 7 days. So far this one is working ok but I do have 1 bright dot on the screen. Debating if I should make use of Asus' 0 Bright dot guarantee but I'm afraid the computer will come back is worse shape.

Overall Review: For the price I paid it's ok. This is my first Asus product and so far it's not a great first impression. The ambient light sensor is horrible. Macbook Air sensor is 10x better.
