Excellent board
Pros: uATX, affordable, good layout, excellent feature set
Cons: No onboard firewire or eSATA, but it's got just about everything else
Overall Review: First thing to know is this mobo is AM3 ready, even though the product description says AM2+/AM2. I'm running a Phenom II X4 810 on it (with the full 6MB L3 cache enabled). I doubt I will ever use the HDMI interface, but ya never know. All in all, a great little motherboard.
Works, but....
Pros: Affordable, pairs easily with phone, easy to use
Cons: Does not transmit voice commands clearly, visor clip has only one position
Overall Review: I got this unit in hopes that it would give me *true* hands-free operation of my Razr V3. It paired nicely, and connects automatically when I power it up. However, it will not transmit voice dialing clearly enough for my phone to dial, so I must use speed (one button) dialing to initiate calls. Not a huge deal, as I only call a few people with my phone, but still. Cannot return for refund, as it was a close out item. Still love the egg.....
Works, but is fragile
Pros: Reads micro and standard SD cards from separate slots on the end and side. Fast, reliable.
Cons: Casing began to separate after a few weeks of use. Fixed easily enough with a drop of superglue, and is now fine.
Overall Review: With a growing collection of micro SD cards, I needed a USB 3.0 reader/writer I use use these in. This one, while not particularly elegant, does work, and in a USB 3.0 port, file transfers are fast IF you are using a Class 6 or above card.
Great card for the $$
Pros: Affordabe, quick (for most tasks), silent
Cons: Not a 7970, but then it's not supposed to be.
Overall Review: If you are a hardcore gamer with a killer rig, you know this card is middling at best. For the rest of us, it packs plenty of horsepower and ability. I upgraded from an HD 4600 series for less than $100 and there was no comparison; with the 12 series drivers, you are good to go.
Good, not great
Pros: Move a lot of air, well made, quiet at LOW speeds
Cons: Relatively loud at full speed
Overall Review: I got two of these to replace my GELID fans (that were dead silent, but 3-oin and not controllable) so I could control the speed through software on my Asrock mobo. Mission accomplished, but these fans are fairly loud when run at the full 1500 RPM. The Asrock OC util that lets you control the fan speed let me bring them down to an acceptable noise level (my case is 18 in. away, at ear level), but at the expense of air volume moved. Bottom line, you want max air cooling, you're gonna have to listen to fans.
Works like a charm
Pros: Inexpensive, compact, well made, it just works.
Cons: Case screws are TINY
Overall Review: Dropped a 320GB SATA II drive pulled from my wife's laptop (replaced by and SSD) into this case, plugged it in, and it was immediately recognized by Win7. The hardest part was getting the tiny case screws back into their holes, but that took more patience than skill. Every Rosewill product I've bought has worked as advertised, and this enclosure is no exception.
