Great Product. Easy to use
Pros: This sets up very easily. This works well as an AP or Client-AP (bridge). I have bought like 5 of these and deployed them in my own home as well as family members's homes. Even my farmer father-in-law can make them work.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Overall Review: You have to understand the technology you are buying and take responsibility for using it.
Just what I needed!!!
Pros: 2 - 2.0A 2- 1.0A Ideally you should not use 2amp on devices that only require one as it will degrade the overall life of your battery Uses standard 2 prong cord (instead of plugging directly into wall)
Cons: None
It's a CHROMEBOOK, not Laptop
Pros: Let me start by clarifying, I do not own THIS Chromebook. I own the Samsung 11.6" I am posting a review b/c of the other reviews here. Chromebooks are meant for surfing the web, utilizing Google& other cloud services. This is why they are inexpensive. They use SSD's over HDD's for 10 second boot time and durability of the hard drive. The former Acer came with HDD and has wisely been replaced. These devices are lighter, faster and more portable in both carrying and use. Yes a Windows 8 Laptop is better machine, it is also 3-5 times more expensive. I would suggest anyone considering buying Chromebook learn what ChromeOS can and cannot do. I work in IT as Desktop Support and do my entire job from home on a Chromebook. I can read my work email, research issues AND remote into my and other computers on our network. You are best to learn ChromeOS's limitations AND look at the Chrome Webstore online to see what web apps are available. If you want GMAIL, YouTube, Netflix, Web, Spreadsheets, Word Processor, Presentation Software and Remote Desktop, etc, then a Chromebook is a great device.
Cons: Intel Celeron Processor vs. Arm (but that is accounted for in cost)
Overall Review: Research a tech product before you buy it. Read the specs. Read the specs of similar devices. Understand what that technology was designed to do. BE SURE TO COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES. Then read the reviews of the users and ask yourself, is what the reviewer saying important to my needs. If so, include their thoughts in your decision.
Work as expected.
Ethernet in between the devices works as it says. I tried other things like through a switch and through power line adapters and so far, no go. ***BUT, those extra things I tried are just that, trying something outside the scope of what it says it does. So this does do what it says it is supposed to do.
Great Mattress
Keep in mind that this requires constant 110v outlet connection for the never flat feature, so keep that in mind for camping. That said, great mattress, great price.
