Decent low-end card

MSI GeForce 210 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Graphics Card N210-MD512D3H/LP
MSI GeForce 210 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Graphics Card N210-MD512D3H/LP

Pros: This card will run any game I've tried from 2009 or older at medium settings with 20+ FPS. Not amazing, but very decent for the price.

Cons: It's passive cooling is silent, but much less effective than with a fan. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit louder if it didn't run so hot.

Overall Review: Like RC, I expected this to outperform my old 8500 GT. Turns out, it's roughly equivalent. Oh well, it was part of a bundle, so I won't complain.

It works

LOGISYS Computer CS305BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Enhanced SOHO Computer Case 480W Power Supply
LOGISYS Computer CS305BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Enhanced SOHO Computer Case 480W Power Supply

Pros: There's lots of room inside. HDD bay fan works well to keep hard drives cool. It isn't super heavy, in my opinion.

Cons: It arrived fairly bent up on the back edges, preventing one of the side panels from closing securely, and those panels aren't the sturdiest around. The fans are very loud. I keep this computer running 24/7 in my room and when I rarely turn it off, I'm amazed by the silence. The expansion bays may be a bit out of spec(my wireless card pops out of its slot when the screws are tightened completely), but that also might just be the card. The front USB ports/audio jack panel seems to be upside down. The USB ports are, anyway.

Overall Review: It works. The PSU is fine for most needs and has never given me trouble. Despite the bent case, I trust that my components are safe inside it. The power LED is a very bright blue, so keep that in consideration.

Very hot

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 - Pentium Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.93 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80571E6500

Pros: Very fast; what else to say?

Cons: This processor runs hot. With the stock heat sink/fan, a Prime95 torture test got this well above 90C.

Overall Review: I bought a fancier heat sink and after proper installation, I couldn't get this thing to reach 80C. Be sure to keep your computer clean and well-ventilated, and the heat shouldn't cause much trouble.
