Good if you only have pci x1

ZOTAC ION Graphics Processor 512MB DDR3 PCI Express x1 Low Profile Ready Video Card ION-GPU-A-E
ZOTAC ION Graphics Processor 512MB DDR3 PCI Express x1 Low Profile Ready Video Card ION-GPU-A-E

Pros: works fairly good for the price.

Cons: Kinda slow for gaming.

Overall Review: bought this for my hp slimline which only has only pci x1 slots. For the average user it works fine, great enhancement over onboard video when using 3d images. Most games work fine but at medium settings. Found most curent games to run slow at high settings and some games you wont detect the ion chipset so you neet to set those manualy. Overall this card is fine if you only stuck with a pci x1 slot.

Wrong specs

SPARKLE DMS GeForce 210 512MB PCI Express x1 Low Profile Video Card SX210DMS512x1 (700029)

Pros: gets picture

Cons: fan noise kinda loud and memory not as advertized

Overall Review: Bought this expecting a boost in performance because it was advertised as having 512 DDR3 ram running at 1333mhz. In fact, my computer reads 512 DDR2 running at only 400mhz. This is actually a major performance dropper and a total waste of money. I think they should've been a little more careful with the specs on this one.

Good Fan

ARCTIC Alpine 64 Pro Rev. 2 CPU Cooler - AMD, Supports Multiple Sockets 92mm PWM Fan at 23dBA

Pros: Quiet, looks cool when installed on a window case. Keeps processor pretty cool. Under 20 bucks.

Cons: Size, watch out some boards, this gets pretty close to blocking the ram slots. depending on case, if your power supply is at the bottom then this gets really close to the top where you may have to remove the board to install.

Overall Review: Originally bought this for overclocking an Atholon II 260 on a MSI 760gmp23fx board, but have since upgraded to an FX 4300. I've not tried Overclocking this chip but at stock it idlels around 38-40c and maxes out at around 45c which is around 10 degrees cooler than the stock fan.

XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: Fast, Free Game. dx-10

Cons: Fan has a little noise but nothing as loud as others.

Overall Review: Bought this because i went fron an old agp to the pci ex. runs all my games at higher framerates than my ati x1650. The dx-10 effects really show a difference especially on C O H which is included. just have to install the dx-10 patch which is on a seperate disk which is also included.

works fine

PC CHIPS A33G V1.0 AM2 SiS 761 GX Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
PC CHIPS A33G V1.0 AM2 SiS 761 GX Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: very inexpensive, high compatability

Cons: does not spit out gold nuggetts. But then again which one does?

Overall Review: some people might call this one cheap. I rather use the word inexpensive. seems to be built well but doesnt do anything fancy. if all you need is something basic that works, this one is well worth it. I use an Atholon 64 X2 4800+ and 2 gig of ram and it beets the heck out of my old P-4 3.0.

Oldie but still a goodie

Pros: HyperThreading, fast Clock speeds Runs Vista. very overclockable.

Cons: Runs a little hot, be sure to get a decent cooler.

Overall Review: Recently upgraded to Vista home premium, other than a few minor progam bugs, this processor runs flawlessly. I have had it OC to 3.6 ghz but gets pretty hot so I keep it at the default 3.0, still plenty fast.
