Nice CPU for last 939 upgrade
Pros: Also got the CCBBE 0617FPMW, very high overclock ratio. I personally got it to ~2850 with stock AMD cooling and stock voltage. But I stopped there because it gets a little bit too hot (55°C load). I'm sure with better cooling this chip can reach 3 GHZ!
Cons: Not much I could think of.
Overall Review: Newegg rulez!!! :D
Works fine
Pros: Works well. Full size ATX. 140W AM3 CPU support. Plenty of overclocking options in the BIOS. Favorable reviews on the net. Can unlock cores. Nice color theme. Cheap.
Cons: No integrated graphics. Couldn't get AMD's ACC to work, and the included overclocking softwares are pretty much worthless.
Overall Review: -Supposedly this board can do CrossFire, need to confirm this though, as Newegg nor the box is not advertising this feature (Biostar's website does). -Was semi-satisfied with Biostar support. Solved an S3 sleep with overclocking issue with a BIOS update in 3-4 days. -Paired with an AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 3.5 GHz
Nice card, but loud fan
Pros: -Nice card, runs fast at extremely low price. -Overclocks nicely with included program.
Cons: -Fixed speed loud fan, really annoying.
Overall Review: -The fan can be fixed though by connecting the 2 pin plug into the 3 pins one on the motherboard. Then its speed can be changed in the bios or by using SpeedFan.
