4 out 5 dead within 2 years.
Pros: The cost was right. The reliability wasn't.
Cons: 80% failure within 2 years is not good.
Overall Review: I originally bought 4 of these, and within a year 1 died. RMAed it. Then after year 1, the other 3 non refurbished ones died. Unfortunately, I purchased these during the time they only had 1 year warranty, so there goes the RMA. Really getting tired of the 1, 2, 3, maybe 5 year warranties. With all the failures, it really doesn't matter about price per GB. How can we select reliability?
Galaxy RMA Support is terrible.
Pros: When it was working, it was a fine little card. Faster than the built in motherboard Intel VGA.
Cons: It had thermal problems and would lock up my system. Big box fan on the open case solved it. I tried to RMA it with Galaxy, but they seem to offsorced their support to people who can't fix the RMA registration site, and who refuse to anser email. When I called in, they told me they use the same site, and it is down, and to keep trying. I asked that they take my information down and call me back. Between that and emails, I have still not received a RMA number. This has been going on since June 2012, over 3 months. Warranty and support don't work if they never answer you.
Overall Review: I am not a gamer, so it was fine for Aero, and other CUDA lite stuff I did.
