Don't Bother
Pros: When it did work, it streamed all formats that were on my external hard drive or laptop.
Cons: Piece of Junk - don't bother buying. Maybe some of the boxes out there actually work, but this was "Refurbished" which I'm starting to think it was returned because it didn't work, so they plug it in and "Tested" it and re-sold as refurbished... Constant lock-ups, could not reliably watch a movie with it.
Overall Review: At least Newegg attempts to stand behind their products. Being a refurb, they would not give money back but would exchange it for another refurb. I guess either they were out of them or couldn't find one that worked better so they did refund my money. Unfortunately I have yet to find a device that will stream my personal collection. As soon as I find one I'll buy on Newegg.
Does not support 4 RAM cards
Pros: Works great with 2 RAM cards
Cons: Won't work with 4 identical RAM cards. Used it for a couple years with G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 2X4GB, then upgraded to Ripjaws DDR3 1600 4X8GB and it brought the machine to a snail pace, removed 2 of the 8GB cards and it works fine - now I see lots of other posts with unhappy people. They claim it will support 32G but it does not. Probably will never buy a Gigabyte product again!
