Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced - Mini-ITX Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Long Graphics Card Support - Black
Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced - Mini-ITX Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Long Graphics Card Support - Black

Pros: Full sized psu fits. Full sized blu ray fits. Full sized hd7970 GPU fits. It will run an intel I7-3770s. Will fit 3 hdds. I used a seasonic x660 psu. An intel it 3770s cpu. Asrock z77e-itx mobo. 2 gelid pwm 120 fans. - pulled the front fan. and used the other with a prolimatech samual 17 heatsink xfx hd 7970 gpu . 2 sticks of patiot 8gb 1600 ram. a crucial mSata 256gb ssd as my booter a 750 gb western digital scorpio black for storage. a scythe 120 mm slim fan to replace stock side fan. I made the front into a grill used a barbecue grill as a template. used a custom mobo cable much shorter then stock

Cons: You must alter the front to get more air in. you need a better side fan for more air. you need short custom mobo cable

Overall Review: This is a great case with the right parts and the 3 mods. My windows experience is 7.8 for cpu 7.8 for ram and all 7.9's case can run bitcoin 24/7 without overheating! This is a followup to my other review.

VisionTek Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 900652

Pros: I have the premier membership so return shipping is free.

Cons: Tried this in an asus maximus gene VI an Asrock itx-e and a gigabyte h77 mobo. tried all 7 pcie slots on the 3 mobos. I purchased hoping to use it on Thur. oh well.

Overall Review: My fourth visiontek card ever owned. My first dud.

Good item smaller size and very fast.

Crucial P310 2TB PCIe Gen4 2230 NVMe M.2 SSD - Up to 7,100 MB/s - Uplevel Your Console - Internal Solid State Drive (PC) - CT2000P310SSD2
Crucial P310 2TB PCIe Gen4 2230 NVMe M.2 SSD - Up to 7,100 MB/s - Uplevel Your Console - Internal Solid State Drive (PC) - CT2000P310SSD2

Pros: I got this as a newegg eggspert review promo. So I said yeah you can put it in a gaming device put will it work as the boot drive for a laptop. I had a newer Hp 15 inch laptop with a 256nvme2 ssd and 8 gb ram. it has a 12gen intel i5 and I really like larger boot drives as they let me run full length blockchains. I opened the laptop. pulled the longer 256 gb nvme.2 and put this short version in. I pulled the single 8 gb ram stick and put in 2 sticks of 16gb ddr4 3200 ram. I sealed it up and used my linux mint usb installer to install linux. it worked easy peasy. I am now downloading the full BTC block chain on the new 2tb ssd.

Cons: I do not know what is wrong with it. I can always say cheaper would be better. I could also say 4tb would be nicer. So far it downloaded 4% of the blockchain around 40gb fast and easy well under an hours time. I do suggest you come back in a day or two and read this as a full block chain download is hard on an ssd. If it works fine and does not shutdown this is a very good item. Edit: So it is about 12 hours later the blockchain fully down loaded over 650gb and no glitches. That is pretty good as 9 straight hours of write time on an ssd is a good test. I will post back in a few months as I do like the drive. Hoping it hold up well. Pretty much means no real cons. Other than make it cheaper in price and make a 4tb version. The 2tb size should be able to work for 3 or 4 years before the blockchain is too big for it. I am pretty impressed it could do the very large long download with no issues.

Overall Review: If you want to use it to run linux which is How I tested it so far it seems fine. If you want to download the BTC blockchain so far it seems fine I will follow up on this in a few days time.

Product is okay has some limits

CORSAIR 3000D RGB AIRFLOW Mid-Tower PC Case - Black - 3x AR120 RGB Fans - Four-Slot GPU Support - Fits up to 8x 120mm fans - High-airflow Design
CORSAIR 3000D RGB AIRFLOW Mid-Tower PC Case - Black - 3x AR120 RGB Fans - Four-Slot GPU Support - Fits up to 8x 120mm fans - High-airflow Design

Pros: Fans look good. Wire management is good. Since I have 3000d high airflow in black I can tell you it is not quiet. I would not get it to run it for a home theater setup. I put an I5 13400t in it. I used 2 16 gb ram sticks for 32gb ram I used an msi mother board. purchased here at newegg. the b660m I used a Fe 3060ti gpu and a 2tb pcie ssd as boot drive. Rig is nice and it does not use a lot of wires to set it up. I had a spare seasonic focus 750 watt platinum psu. I did a few test for noise as I was considering to use it with my samsung 65 inch home theater tv. It is a bit too loud.

Cons: Once again I can not download photos My biggest con so far is it is a bit noisy. But I new it would not be that quiet in the first place since it is designed for air flow. A few mention it is poor for watercooling. Well just think about its name 'High Air flow design' it is right in the title. CORSAIR 3000D RGB AIRFLOW Mid-Tower PC Case - Black - 3x AR120 RGB Fans - Four-Slot GPU Support - Fits up to 8x 120mm fans - High-airflow Design. So only use it if you are looking to air cool.

Overall Review: I am an Eggxpert reviewer so I got the case free. I may give it away on a website I use a lot. My advice is buy neweggs special deal . https://www.newegg.com/white-corsair-4000d-airflow-atx-mid-tower/p/11-139-191?Item=11-139-191&cm_sp=product-_-from-price-options CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid-Tower Case with ATX - RM850 Power Supply installed, White Newegg Exclusive with pre-installed 850W PSU Nice white model no rgb fans. You can find ones you like or use the 2 plain fans they included. Personally I would get the white case and use the same motherboard with all the same parts other than the gpu I would upgrade to a 4070ti in white and call it a day.

Very nice external ssd for Mac mini boot drive.

Corsair EX100U 1TB USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Portable SSD External SSD up to 1,600MB/sec CSSD-EX100U1TB
Corsair EX100U 1TB USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Portable SSD External SSD up to 1,600MB/sec CSSD-EX100U1TB

Pros: Runs cool I did a full copy of my 136gb Mac mini boot drive in about 6-7 minutes and it was not very warm to the touch. It allows for a bottle copy with Carbon Copy Cloner. This is a nice if you are a Mac user. My Mac mini is using it as I type.

Cons: No run light on it. Maybe it is not a con and that why it runs cool. If you use it as an external boot drive you will know if it is working. I am using it to write this review.

Overall Review: Until now 1 major rival of crucial has an external to use as a Mac boot drive. It is nice to have an option to use crucial instead of only being able to use samsung for this. I am pretty much a fan of both companies for ram and ssd's. I am glad crucial now has a competitive product with the Samsun T-7 Comes with a usb c to usb c cable and a usb a to usb c cable. I did not do any speed test other than the speed to clone the drive with CCC. 6-7 minutes I will do a few other tests with this drive with the internal 1tb ssd in the Mac mini and with my samsung t-7 boot drive. Maybe run with this one for a week. As I just did the clone and boot today. Her is an update: I ran geek bench and using the internal nvme ssd my speeds were 1250 single core score and 4502 multi-core score I ran geek bench and used this external ssd my speeds were 1322 single core score and 4341 multi-core score. So for all practically the externally is good enough for my use. This is a big money saver. a new base Mac mini has 256gb internal if you upgrade on apple website price jumps $400. If you use this ssd price is $84 more. that is a $300+ savings.

Nice low cost psu.

CORSAIR CX-M CX650M 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Semi-Modular Power Supply

Pros: Note this was given to me as a Eggxpert reviewer. The cpu wire comes hard wired. The Motherboard 24 pin wire comes hard wired. Low cost. Good Warranty as corsair is good support of gear. Fan is quiet when using up to 300 watts as tested by me. Brand name and of course one more nice feature is it is a small size as psus go.

Cons: Biggest con is 1 pcie cable with 2 jacks and a second cpu cable besides the hard wired cpu cable. My logic goes like this a low cost psu running a high end cpu that needs two cpu cables is less likely than trying to run a low cost cpu and two low cost gpus. I run this with a low cost low power cpu and will not need that second cpu cable. but I do run 2 nvidia 3060 gpus and an extra pcie/gpu cable would help. he pcie jack and the cpu jack are one and the same so you could plug in two separate pcie cables and run 2 low power gpus . Intead I am running 2 95 watt gpus on 1 pcie cable. Waiting on an adapter for that extra cpu cable to make it a pcie/gpu fit.

Overall Review: Do I recommend this. Yes. It is really good for a low cost build . Use a simple cpu I low cost motherboard. a low cost gpu an ssd. You can easily do builds under 500 that are good for streaming and lite gaming If this has a second gpu cable and no extra cpu cable I would have give it 5 stars instead of the 4 I gave it.
