Pros: Super fast. I put this drive into an old Core 2 Duo with 8 GB of DDR2 and Windows 7 Pro. I thought this drive would just make the old computer usable again. I was surprised to see that it supercharged the old girl. It was like building a new computer. Reinstalling my applications took just a few minutes instead of a few hours like it did on the old drive.

Cons: It is kinda small. With Windows 7, iTunes, Roxio, and the drivers, I have used a little more than half the drive's capacity. I only set up one user and I slaved the old 500 GB magnetic disk to take care of the data storage so it shouldn't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: Use this drive for an OS drive. You won't be able to store any data on it.

D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Works with Vista and VoIP phone.
Good security options. I can put timers on certian computers.

Cons: It looses it settings when you unplug it.
Administration is a bit complicated. It will do all sorts of neat router stuff but all I need it to do is be a home router.
It does not keep a record of web pages it goes to.

Other Thoughts: When I switched to Vista my Linksys failed, the D-Link works great with Vista.

RAIDMAX Scorpio ATX-868WBP Black 0.8mm Japanese SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420watts PS2 ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: It has lots of flashing red lights in the front and blue glowing lights on the side fan and the front emblem. There is plenty of room inside for big processor heat sink through the side window. Buy colorful parts for this rig. I like how you can cover the headphone/mic/USB jacks in the front without using the big door covering the optical drives. It comes with all the fans you need for the holes it gives you. The activity lights on the front are big, easy to see and look cool. The blue light in the side window and on the front emblem makes it easy to tell if it is powered on. I hate cases with little green lights that you can only see if in the dark (DELL).

Cons: The holes in the back for the extra cards don't go back in. I miss judged where the video card was going to go and punched out the wrong plate and I had to duck tape it back in. The metal is flimsy and the paint is easy to scratch so be careful while you work on it.

Other Thoughts: I built this for a fifteen year old boy and he about fainted when I turned it on.
Good case for the price.
