No complaints

SanDisk Ultra Plus 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDHP-256G-G25
SanDisk Ultra Plus 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDHP-256G-G25

Pros: Straightforward installation, does what it says on the tin. No issues with reliability yet, and the price point was very attractive.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Going from a standard HDD to the SSD gave a noticeable jump to boot times and made previously interminable load times in games like BF4 no longer noticeable. If you're installing this alongside existing/new HDD units, remember to read up on how to do this properly (tl;dr: the HDDs should be pulled before installing a Windows OS).

Most Critical Review

Barely functional out of the box

ASUS RT-N12 Wireless Broadband Router SuperSpeedN 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps/ Open Source DD-WRT Support
ASUS RT-N12 Wireless Broadband Router SuperSpeedN 802.11b/g/n up to 300Mbps/ Open Source DD-WRT Support

Pros: Supported by DD-WRT. (This turned out to be a necessity for me) Nice wireless specs.

Cons: GUI interface is wretchedly slow, over-done (very cartoony, including a monkey/doctor mascot), and a pain to work with (mouse-overs blocking buttons you want to click, e.g.). My unit was wildly unstable. Required resets several times a day after all internet connections would be dropped despite the router still reporting a functioning internet connection. Since wiping the factory firmware and replacing with DD-WRT, the resets have gone from twice a day to once every other week.

Overall Review: Thoroughly unimpressed with the router overall, given what I expected from the ASUS brand. Although it's functioning more-or-less steadily now, it took a complete wipe of the default firmware and several weeks of headaches to get to this point. Will not be buying an ASUS router again any time soon.
