Thermaltake Matrix VX VD3000SNA Silver Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake Matrix VX VD3000SNA Silver Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: A pretty good case. Very lightweight and has good overall construction quality to it. It feels very solid when put together.

Cons: The side panels are very weak when they're not attached, and probably bend very easily, so be careful where you put them when your open it up. A crossbar inside the chassis needs to be removed to put in the PSU.

Overall Review: The tool less locks for the expansion card slots may not be compatible with your video card if it requires two slots. Fortunately, the system is easily removed to allow for the standard screw-in holds.

A little misleading

DELL Laptop Latitude Intel Core i5-520M 4GB Memory 160GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 14.1" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit E5410
DELL Laptop Latitude Intel Core i5-520M 4GB Memory 160GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 14.1" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit E5410

Pros: A good machine for the price, if you don't mind light wear and tear.

Cons: Machine is NOT loaded with WIn7 64b; it has Win7 32b. Other reviewers have mentioned this, so it's not a fluke. Product did not come with a WIn7 product key. There's a paper form the refurb shop that has a scan of a MS License on it, but the # is X'd out.

Overall Review: This is very hinky, and is tripping my internal scam-dar. If I wasn't buying through Newegg, who I trust fairly well, I would not have made this purchase. I emailed the refurb shop for a product key; this goes to a 1 star if I end up having to buy a new copy of Win7 64b.

BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: A good price, and has most of the features your average home user would need, without driving up the cost with extras.

Cons: The board layout is very cramped, especially the CPU/RAM slots. Some jumpers, like for the CD audio and front panel ports, are poorly located in the back corner of the board.

Overall Review: Mine was DOA, and I'm returning it for a different brand that I'm more familiar with.
