SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 DirectX 11 100352-2L 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: I've had this card for about 3 weeks now and it's been amazing.

Great and easy overclocking (not that it even really needs it, runs most games on high+ at 50-60 fps). Currently running stable at 1000/1350.

Incredibly cool and quiet even when overclocked. Temps peaked at 45 C. I contribute that mostly to the high air flow in my case and the open shroud that the card has. If you have a full tower with push/pull from the front/side to the back/top this is the kind of shroud that works best. The natural air flow of your tower will help cool the card rather than having a fully encased shroud where any outside air cannot get in. Moreover, the card is near silent. Fans only start to make noise at around 60% and only become audible in other rooms of the house at 90%. Fans have not hit above 50% so far on their own.

Some benchmarks (at overclock, all averaged):
League of Legends: 60 fps on max settings (capped fps rate)
Far Cry 3: 50 fps on max settings, 60-70 on very high
Hitman Absolution: 60 fps on max settings
Team Fortress 2: 90 fps on max settings
Call of Duty Black Ops II: 60 fps on max settings (capped fps rate)
Assassin's Creed III: 45 fps on max settings, 60-70 on high (when running and looking into the distance on the frontier with the trees/wildlife)
Metro 2033: 75 fps on max settings
The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: 60 fps on max settings with several dozen mods (capped fps rate)
Black Mesa: 80 fps on max settings
Borderlands 2: 60 fps on max settings, dipped to 50 when fighting certain monsters
Counter-Strike Global Offensive: 60 fps on max settings (capped fps rate)
Crysis 2: 50 fps on max settings
Driver San Francisco: 60 fps on max settings
Max Payne 3: 60 fps on max settings

I could name more but they're all pretty much the same. 60 fps on max or very high.

Cons: It's very big so make sure you have a very long mid tower or a full tower. MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY. This card needs 11 inches from the beginning of the PCB to the end of the shroud. The power connectors connect at the top rather than the side so you don't need any extra room on the side.

No cons other than the size.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from my incredibly noisy (but still impressive) XFX Radeon 5830. I put it in my Rosewill THOR V2 full tower case and it has plenty of room. There's a good 3 inches between it and the HDD cage.

Only running at PCIe 2.1 bandwidth speeds because of my aging mobo and cpu (Asus M4A87TD-EVO, Phenom II X4) but I don't think 3.0 bandwidth would make that much of a difference.

T-fal FR7008002 Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer

5 out of 5 eggs Great fryer. 05/01/2012

This review is from: T-fal FR7008002 Ultimate EZ Clean Deep Fryer

Pros: This fryer is absolutely amazing. Very spacious (at least for my needs), heats up quickly, temps are accurate and remain stable for the duration of cooking. Even when you're done cooking this appliance continues to impress. Almost everything can be taken off of the main chassis and cleaned separately or in the dish washer. With the turn of a switch the oil automatically filters and drains (after it has cooled down to an acceptable temperature) into a tub below the fryer for further use or disposal.

Cons: The metal piece at the top of the basket that helps hold the handle came bent angled upwards but was easily bent back to the right place.

Other Thoughts: For the reviewers who claim that it leaks oil all over the floor... The fryer has a "MAX" oil level line indicated inside. It is a bit hard to see since it is only indented in the reservoir and not outlined at all. The oil tub was designed to only hold the MAX indicated in the reservoir. Just because the reservoir may hold a few gallons more than the max line suggests doesn't mean the oil tub will too. Use your head and follow the instructions.
