Pros: What can I say? For $25 on special I got a heatsink that chopped 15c off my idle times and 20-25c off my load temps. On an i5 2500K, my idle temps are ~30C, and my load temps STRUGGLE to get above ~50C running stress tests at 100% CPU load using standard clocks. This gives me plenty of play room to overclock with while staying under stable temps, and its why I got this heatsink. For an i5 installation is pretty simple with one exception (see below). Also, I really love the included thermal paste. It works well and it means I don't have to buy more. Just a small-pea sized glob in the center is all you need folks to get great coverage. Quiet as well. The mounts for the fan are rubber so you are not likely to hear to hear it against the heatsink.

Cons: Installation is easier with the help of a 2nd person. The backplate doesn't screw onto your motherboard at all, it just sits there and your heatsink itself is supposed to keep it in place. I had to have a 2nd person come over and keep the back plate pressured while I tried to figure out how to line up the heatsink with the holes (being a universal mount it requires fiddling with screw positioning to fit the set up for your motherboard).

Overall Review: My PC doesn't have the most amazing cooling/airflow in the world, but I have pretty decent airflow - the heatsink fan pushes air through the heatsink and right out the back exhaust fan. Just make sure you have enough space. It's 160mm (or 16cm) high. My pretty standard mid-tower case fits it perfect without any issues. Fits in nice and snug next to my ram to with my i5 socket without competing for space. Worst thing space wise is the fan ends up being right on top of a ram stick, but its not actually touching it with how high it is off the motherboard so its not really an issue. Its a no-nonsense heatsink that is well designed, gets the job done very well that leaves plenty of temperature room for overclocking at a no-nonsense price. If only all things you could buy with money were like this.
