This review is from: Timbuk2 Blue/Black/Blue Commute S Model 269-2-4005
Pros: Nice durable-feeling design, rides and walks comfortably. Good padding in the back for a laptop, and it's felt-lined so your computer comes out cleaner than you put it in. I keep an Inspiron 13z in it.
Cons: Could have used the side clip strap that some other messenger bags have for extra hold on bike commutes.
Other Thoughts: This bag is not likely to fray or fall apart soon, and it's a little too clean/crispt to look like it came from a thrift store, so you'll look much more respectable than a dirty hipster when you're running red lights and ignoring pedestrians at crosswalks.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The excellent keyboard and touchpad are my main reasons for choosing this laptop over a comparable tablet. It's thin, quiet, and comfortable to lug around between public transit, work, and class. It handles Windows 8 fluidly.
Cons: Glossy screen reflects any light source behind you. Not easy to dismantle and change components if that's how you like to treat your new electronics. Dell company is run by neocons.
Other Thoughts: The port covers are a nice feature for a mobile user. If you need to plug stuff in, buy a desktop. Everything I use away from my desk connects fine with bluetooth or wifi.
I did swap the 500GB HDD for the 128GB Samsung SSD I had recently put in the larger laptop that this Dell replaced -- I highly recommend for performance and battery life.
Takes a week to acclimate to using the Fn key to utilize Home/End/PgUp/PgDn.
