Used budget HTPC
Pros: I purchased to fit an ATX mobo and GPU (needed to be tall enough). Everything fit easily (standoffs included) and was easy to work with. Had a fun time building. Comes with SSD power cable. The fan power cables came with a coupler so you can run both case fans off one molex cable. Front red LED if you're into that kind of thing.
Cons: The power button gets stuck sometimes and needs to be tapped to pop back out. (power button is the red square on the front) The loudest fan is my GPU fan so no complaint about case fan noise. It would be difficult to install a second HDD. The second HDD mounts on the bottom of the case (mount not included) and would also block the bottom vent. The instructions included is a poor quality image printed on a single sheet of paper (pretty much useless). The expansion ports are break-off so plan your placement before you pop one out and leave a hole (although one expansion slot bracket is included)
Overall Review: Power supply is bottom-front (not bottom-rear) mounted which works out fine, but it didn't come with recommended fan placement. i.e fan pointed inside to pull air from inside the case or point fan towards front to pull air from outside the case. I chose to pull from inside to create better airflow. Matter of preference I suppose. The power cord still plugs into the normal spot on the rear of the computer - the case has a female to male power cord extender routed to the front to plug in the power supply. I didn't install a optical drive, but the drive door pushes through a case flap when it opens. Overall good case, I would buy again for a cheap effective build. (-1 egg for power button, 2nd HDD placement, & instructions...probably should be more of a 4.5/5)
Poor design
Pros: Small, attractive, usb 3.0,
Cons: Ridiculous HDD mount - sits sideways mounted to the front of the case (not a hdd slot) In order to install an optical drive (& HDD), the plastic front panel of the case has to come off, then case frame has to be unscrewed and removed. Then you have to guesstimate how far forward to mount the drive so that it fits snuggly against the front plastic panel so the button makes contact with the drive. Takes allot of adjusting. Makes no sense why they would design it this way. 3 USB cables (2 usb 2.0, 1 usb 3.0) but only two usb ports on the front of the case - had to trial and error to get both front usb ports to work (obviously the blue is usb 3.0 - but the one of the usb 2.0 cables did nothing). Legs don't mount to the case, so could fall over if knocked - not good for floor placement. Power button feels cheap and makes an annoying plastic click when pressed (now im just being picky)
Overall Review: This was only the second computer I have built, but it was a frustrating case to work with. As another review mentioned, I would not purchase this for your first build. I wouldn't purchase again now knowing how it works.
