decent cam

Pros: I wanted a cheap cam to connect to my wireless network, and this one fit the bill. I read all the negative reviews, but I thought I would give it a try. After finally getting the camera setup, it is actually working just fine. Quality is decent, and the software is pretty bad....but it does record on motion as I wanted.
Cons: Setup is painful. I have a linksys ea4500 router, and eventually I ended up getting it to connect by changing the wireless security to wpa2 personal instead of wpa/wep mixed (hope this helps someone). Software is terrible.....poorly programmed and it took forever to figure out. Having said that it does work in the end, it just takes a while to figure out how to do everything.
Overall Review: I am using this as a security cam with the software on my computer recording only on motion. I have it setup to dump the recordings every 7 days so it doesn't use too much space. Everything is working just fine so far (2 weeks).
sale got me

Pros: Bought this motherboard on sale....couldn't resist the deal. Having onboard video (with integrated graphics cpu) is a plus if you ever need it, and the built in wifi would be nice if it wasn't horrible. The board looks nice and neat....easy to run wires to where they need to go. Temps are good, and haven't had any problems with processor, ram, hard drives, etc. The bios is very user-friendly (dummy proof).
Cons: The wifi adapter is garbage. First of all, if you don't screw the thing to the motherboard before you mount the motherboard to the case, you will be taking it off and doing it again. Then good look poking the thing sticking out the back of the motherboard through your rear panel on your case. If you get that far without breaking anything, maybe you'll have a connector on your antenna cord that will plug into the port (mine just falls right out, will not even stay in the hole). If I sit there and hold the cord into the connector, it goes from 2 bars to 5 bars.....even doing that the USB adapter I have gives me 5 times faster speeds. I know it's being nit picky, but when you buy something you want EVERYTHING to work...and it's annoying when it doesn't.
Overall Review: I'm not pleased with the terrible wifi, but I'm not sending back the board. I just don't have the time to fool with starting over. Everything else seems to work fine...so I'm going with 3 eggs. Maybe next upgrade I will get something of better quality.
overkill

Pros: cools very well. it feels very well made.
Cons: it is huge, and that's an understatement. pretty difficult installation for a cpu cooler.
Overall Review: i have one core that tends to run 36C idling, the others are 30 or below. im happy with the purchase, but i will definitely go with something smaller next build. be sure to check the dimensions of your case before buying this monster...
no "wow" factor

Pros: It works fine. No issues with installation at all.
Cons: I seriously can not tell much difference from my velociraptor hd. I mean, this thing is fast......but I was not impressed.
Overall Review: I thought about buying another one for raid, but I'm not putting any more money into these drives at this time. I'm sure if I did harcore video editing or something I would love this thing.....but I kind of regret my purchase on this one.
good range

Pros: Very good range. I have this hooked up to a desktop that is on the opposite side of the house from the router...literally. No hiccups at all so far.
Cons: I have not seen anything close to a 300mb connection, of couse you have to consider how far away I am from the router. I usually average 130-150mb connection, which is still alot better than the 54mb my wireless-g laptop gets (and it doesn't connect but half of that at the location of the desktop in the house).
Overall Review: I have windows 7 64-bit and the card works fine. I followed the advice of another reviewer and downloaded the drivers from belkin's website, then right clicked and ran the .exe file in compability mode for vista sp2. I'm very happy with my purchase.
good drive

Pros: noticed increase in speed (loading, transferring, etc). it's actually pretty quiet, i have not noticed any noise that bothers me from it. cannot beat the performance for the price of this drive.
Cons: i have noticed there is more heat with this drive than my previous one. it's not really that it gets hotter, it just gets hot faster. as soon as i start to do something that is accessing the disk alot it warms up really quick. i did not deduct an egg, b/c i feel the performance boost overshadows the heat, and as i said..the other drive got hot too, it just took longer to heat up.
Overall Review: im very satisfied with my choice on a laptop primary drive replacement. hopefully it will last.
