Super Case Can't be any more better
Pros: This is all you need. This case comes with 20+4 pin. You don't need to order a seperate 20 to 24 cable for this. Power led connector has two seperate connector, so you don't have to worry about your motherboard kind. Built in speaker is also cool. Comes with two wire tie. Build is very good, similar to Japan. Overall I am amazed with this case. Also PCI connector: once you remove the steel, you can replace with a screw. Quiet Fans, both power supply and case. You can add additional fan in the front too, same size as case fan. Has both power and HDD led and both power and reset button. Front USB, audio,...what else I can say. This is it. Ohh, when you install the cd roms, make sure you put right screws first then insert the roms, then attach two other screws. You will know when you get the case. You don't need to open front plastic cover to do that. But for the floppy, don't worry about the right side, only one side is enough. Trust me, you can use 7950GT with this power supply, but ONE
Cons: Took a little while to get the case. Only one HDD, but that's all I need. When you insert the mohterboard, insert the side with 20/24 pin connector first, go all the way then you will get the rest.
Overall Review: Using it with core 2 due 6600, nvidia 7600, 2GB kingston ram, two best DVD writer, floppy with all in one card reader form Mitsumi, seagate 320 best HDD. Low power system, I keep it on 24/7. Using as a web server + home use. Also winXPpro because it rocks.
Died after 3 months
Pros: 1300W
Cons: Died after 3 months continuous operation @900W. Rosewill RMA is costing $20 to return it back.
dd-wrt enabled
Pros: Love dd-wrt on this router. First day after unpacking the router, I voided the warranty by installing dd-wrt v.24 micro. Lot of routers (other brands) reboot automatically, but I have not encountered that problem with this router. Only reason I installed dd-wrt is to use dns-o-matic (free) to update my ip address, so I can connect to my computer remotely.
Cons: After changing any major settings router blocks access to configuration page (sometimes, not always). Need to unplug and replug the power cable. Don't worry, it won't reset the router. Again, all with dd-wrt. It's not a big deal since it's not linksys's fault and you hardly need to change settings on routers (not a everyday job).
Overall Review: Don't install dd-wrt standard. Only micro works best. You won't miss anything, trust me. In case you mess up the router with dd-wrt, there is always hope until you smell any burning chip. Google search how to de-brick wrt54g. Looking forward to get a gigabit dd-wrt router in future when price becomes <$50
BIOS BUG
Pros: Newegg RMA. I am a newegg fan for over 4 years. Service is greatly improved over the last couple years. Hardware raid. Took to long time to figure out that you need to press ctrl + i during boot to get into raid config. Board looks very nice.
Cons: Faulty bios. First tried to install Linux, couldn't do it. Tried with all kind of combination. Then decided to go with xp, couldn't do it either. At the installation screen, screen goes blank. If you plan to do linux, stay away. Also, asus support!, call the customer support line, you will realize how bad it is. I used to be asus fan, but because of their service I quit.
Overall Review: Bought a Intel BOXDG33TLM, even though rating is low, worked perfectly for linux (fedora 9). I called Intel, Asus, Gigabyte and tried to find out about their support. Intel is best, second Gigabyte. Couldn't get any support from Asus!, not even from their website.
Cheap Built
Pros: looks good from outside.
Cons: Very cheap built. USB didn't work without any modification on computer. Rings are too small. Ear doesn't go into the rings.
Overall Review: Returned immediately after received. Little loss for restocking but still happy for newegg's prompt RMA.
Branded
Pros: It works.
Cons: shipping cost is higher than price.
Overall Review: Nothing much to write. It's branded.
