fast ssd
Pros: metal body, very sturdy, loads into windows in less than 20 seconds.
Cons: regular price is high. did not glow hot pink.
Overall Review: i bought this ssd in hopes of making my computer faster overall, and it did. my pc went from a 5.8 to a 7.9 rating in windows. i got this ssd fast from newegg for only 190, during a one day sale. i had this ssd for a month now and there has been no quality issues.
budget illuminated keyboard
Pros: 1. Has Blue, Red, or Purple backlighting, there is a button on the top right hand corner. 2. Dedicated keys: Email, Home page, Favorites, multimedia, volume, mute, music player, My computer and calculator. 3. Not heavy, not easy to tangle wire. 4. Large print and Function keys are separated.
Cons: 1. Loud typing, it's louder than stock dell keyboards at my college computer lab. 2. Hard to press keys, all the keys require what feels like more force than average to type with. 3.Sticky keys, keys might stick if you don't press the center of it. It occasionally stuck when pressed at an angle. 4. Rubber feet doesn't work well. 5. Can't turn off illumination when not needed.
Overall Review: Another thing I didn't like is the palm rest, I didn't list it as a con because others might like it. Overall this keyboard's main positive is the back lighting, other than that it's a below average keyboard. It feels like a hard to press utilitarian keyboard, if dell had budget illuminated keyboards, I would get that instead. This is good for dark rooms but usually this is useful at night, but it is also loud, so there is a problem there. My conclusion is that this is an okay backup illuminated keyboard.
Doesn't last long
Pros: Easy installation. There are 3 sets of instructions with pictures. I would still get a good wireless signal (4/5 bars) 35 feet away with walls in the way.
Cons: Would need to reset the router about 2-3 times a year. Wireless only worked for 2 years.
Overall Review: This router's wireless broke down on me after 2 years so I don't recommend it.
not that good.
Pros: The apps for android and ios are good for accessing pdfs outside. Accessing pdfs and documents aren't a problem.
Cons: This unit doesn't play movies all that well, it "lags" so much when I try to play videos. I' m on a gigabit home network too, not my router's fault because the is strong and I have a solid connection for streaming stuff from my pc. As others have said, this unit disconnects.Sometimes it reconnects after severly hours, other times I have to unplug it. Another problem is that sometimes it won't let me log in from my pc, eventhough I have logged out of other devices. I always update the apps on my devices and the unit's firmware but these problems persist.
Overall Review: I will avoid being an early adopter for things like this in the future. I don't recommend anyone get this because this isn't ready yet, but the idea of being able to access your stuff from pc, android, ios, mac and web outside your home is neat if someone could get it right.
