Not quite to the standard I was expecting, but still good

Pros: -Trackpoint, precise touchpad, best mousing you can get without an actual mouse -Looks sexy -Perfect size/weight -Good battery life(~6h on lowest brightness performing normal computing tasks like web browsing and running office) -Quality webcam, with a light that tells you when it's on -Plenty fast for my desktop apps(MATLAB is a little sluggish but I was not really expecting better) -Sturdy hinges -Nutty wireless range, I can use the wi-fi from the bar across the street from my work in a pinch, with two bars -Headphones have their own volume/mute! So you can mute the speakers and when you plug in headphones the output will come back on, and vice versa. -Wi-fi switch is nice and far from anywhere I will bump it, and takes a fair amount of force to switch -It's a Thinkpad, and touching it makes me feel randy
Cons: Minor issues, most of them with workarounds, but still that's time spent messing around with setting up the computer that I don't want to spend: -Wireless is buggy, it might just not play nice with my router at home though, as it seems to work well enough at work and school -Color balance is off(too blue) -Webcam auto white balance doesn't work(too blue, which makes you look bad/ill) -Button for DVD eject is exactly where I hold the laptop when I grab it by the base, so it pops out any time I move the computer -Fan is too loud at normal operating temp(45-50C). I was able to fix this myself through software however. It also doesn't run fast enough when the computer gets hot, so if it gets over 60(which it will at full load) it doesn't cool itself enough. Also anything above the lowest level(2600rpm) on the fan sounds like a jet. -Trackpoint goes out of calibration periodically -Center scroll button stops working randomly -Only comes with windows 8 DVD -Lenovo junk software -Installing Windows 8.1 takes an entire day with the lenovo scripts taking about half the time -Weird texturing on touchpad that makes it kinda hard to use -Speakers take up a ton of space on the front but don't sound good -Fn is where I expect Ctrl to be, so I am constantly hitting Fn-C instead of Ctrl-C. You can flip them in the keyboard options, but Ctrl is a much bigger button, so you still end up hitting Fn(now mapped to the larger Ctrl button) on accident. -Sleep and wi-fi turn off on the F keys, so you have to be careful trying to adjust the brightness in the dark -Finish collects grease like crazy and seems impossible to clean, so the lid always looks messy Overall it feels a little cheap or rough around the edges compared to older models of thinkpads
Overall Review: I'm picky, but overall I'm pleased after tweaking with it.
Great performance, RGB is annoying

Pros: - Mine could run even at 15 CAS
Cons: - You have to run a G Skill application and keep it running for the RGB to work. This app has issues and will eat 100% of your CPU if you leave it running too long. - If you don't run the application it will default back to rainbow puke and is really annoying
Overall Review: If you could just set this once and it would remember the RGB settings it would be great, but not worth it to run their bad application just for some lights. Will avoid RGB in the future.
Amazing keyboard

Pros: Keys have much better response than most slim keyboards. Construction is solid. Low profile is more comfortable than other keyboards. Worked right out of the box on Win7x64, media keys and all. Types much faster than my old keyboard(was also laptop style, but had "mushy" keys)
Cons: Keys don't seem to come off, so crumbs could be troublesome if you got any stuck in it. I thought the blue lettering was LED, but it's just paint, worried about how quickly the letters might wear off. With the feet down, it kind of rattles against the desk.
Overall Review: Great keyboard for the price, stylish too. You won't regret getting it unless you prefer the big 80's style keyboards.
Not too happy

Pros: -Came with all the fans you need -Fans move a lot of air -Quiet(assuming the fans are working) -Black -Fan filter in front
Cons: -Toolless design needs some work(5.25" bays it works great on, 3.5" and the PCI slots not so much.) -Top fan is only held in by top of case, which it bangs against if you get a fan that's not in tight enough tolerances. I was able to fix it with a little sanding and shimming the fan away from the case though. Thermaltake will tell you to RMA the fan but I didn't want to bother. -Side fan was noisy. Fixed by removing. CPU temp went down after removing since the air flow is going the wrong way(side fan is an intake, not exhaust, I suppose you could just turn it around, though the mounts would be on the wrong side). -No isolation of hard drive from case, so it could potentially vibrate, especially with the tool-less clips. -Have to take off the front of the case and front fan to screw down HDD, since the cage is non-removeable. -Cost
Overall Review: I have mixed feelings about this case. I managed to get it working well enough for me but when you buy a case you kind of expect it to work without modification.
Triple core value

Pros: AM3. Great compromise between the clock speeds of dual-core Athlon IIs and the extra cores of quad-core Athlon IIs, so it runs great even on programs that aren't optimized for extra cores or that can't be. All I had to sacrifice was overclockability and L3 cache to pay half as much for my processor. Runs cooler than my old Athlon 64 X2. Runs at 800MHz idle(saves power), down from the 1000MHz of the last generation of CPUs.
Cons: 95W TPD, though I doubt it ever uses nearly that much, especially with the cool&quiet function that ramps it down to 800MHz and 1.1v when it's not in use.
Overall Review: Best value for a processor for sure.
ASUS for the win

Pros: It worked right away with my hardware, bios was easy to flash. Auto-detected DDR3-1600 RAM. Has plenty of fan connectors(1 4-pin and 2 3-pin I believe). Only uses 4-pin CPU power, so I didn't have to get a new power supply. Solid motherboard. Heat sinks are fancy.
Cons: Front panel connectors are kinda oddly placed at the back of the motherboard. The cords were just barely long enough to fit, but the quick connector that comes with the motherboard made installation easier. Only came with 1 USB quick connect. Extra SATA controller and express gate slow down boot-up if you don't disable them. Didn't match my red hardware?
Overall Review: Running with: AMD Athlon II X3 435 G.Skill 2GB(2x1GB) DDR3-1600 BFG GeForce 9600GT
