Up and going in 10 min
Pros: Small, easy set up. The set up on a Epson Photo Stylus RX680 All-in-one to 2 desktops (wired and wireless) and 3 laptops (wireless) was easy. It was as easy as loading up the included software. Allows you to print, scan and monitor printer status and any computer in the network.
Cons: Slight 7 second delay on wireless G connection.
Overall Review: I bought a new Epson Photo Stylus RX680 All-in-one. Prints and scans. It was connected to a wireless belin router. Loaded the printer drivers to each machine while each was hard wired to the printer. Then loaded the print server included software on each machine. Follow the instructions.
Broke on me today
Pros: Faster than my d-link, hot swappable (maybe never tried it cause it broke on me before I could), software is ok
Cons: Slow on apple TV, not a real iTunes server (it only sees music). The real killer is that the 3 year warranty is useless. because you can't get it replaced if you don't have an extended phone support, which only lasts 3 months. This thing broke in 4 months. Phone support to get a replacement (online) cost $75. Good thing I hung up on the guy that told me that he had the best deal at $129.99 when I first called. He wouldn't send me to the "expert" until I paid it. In conclusion I paid $75 to get a replacement sent to me. (USED or REFURBISHED) Died after the service warranty expired. What a rip-off. I'm try the synology next time. After I get my replacement, I'm selling this. I can't TRUST it anymore. They lost me as a customer.
Overall Review: I don't TRUST Netgear anymore. I though I'd try them. But no more after this. That's just shady. Companies just don't get it...word of mouth is huge. If they had not made me pay for support, and just gave me the replacement, I would have told everyone about them and used them at my company. Netgear, TRUST is important.
Crossfire / SLI Ready Little Misleading
Pros: Good Power Supply - No issues yet Looks Well made Alot of Connectors
Cons: 2x PCI-E Connectors, Most video cards now take both connectors now, so if you add another one, you can't supply power to it for Crossfire or SLI. You need 4X PCI-E Connectors to power 2 video cards.
