Nifty Card

Pros: -ACX cooler is efficient. -Plays almost every game on 1080p, maxed, smoothly. -The card itself looks sleek. -4GB of vram.
Cons: -Can get a bit noisy, not hair-dryer loud, but a weak hair-dryer breeze. I expected the card to be quieter. -When I received my card, I noticed a few bent fins on the cooler, I decided to leave them be since it didn't affect performance but, it is worth noting shipping or manufacturing damage. -Very cool, temps don't go over 77C. -The 256-bit bus. -A bit overpriced...
Overall Review: -I was disappointed to know that running Skyrim whilst running many mods (including an ENB) consumed a maximum of 1.97 GB of vram [on 1080p]. Which leaves me to believe that 4GB of vram is unnecessary, at least for today's games. Since games like BF4 and SC:Blacklist only use about 1.7-1.8GB of vram on 1080p. -If you are playing on 1080p, this isn't the card for you; the reason I got this card was for the bigger memory (for modding purposes) which isn't getting used :( -It's debatable whether the card will actually use 4GB of vram with only 256-bit bus, this card would benefit from using a higher bus interface. -Also note that the card can't max everything out, especially the AMD titles such as Tomb Raider; TressFX really takes a big hit. Nonetheless, it will still give solid performance at med-high settings. -My card OC [on top of the factory OC] for a 1% increase: Core Clock: +36Mhz Memory Clock: +230MHz I didn't expect much since it was a FTW ed, but it was my first time OC'ing a card and I did see some improvements running Skyrim (with many mods) at a more stable 30FPS. -Final Thought: I wished that the card would see a price drop since the r9 series was released.
Stuck with Windows 8

Pros: -It's newer -boot times are crazy fast -Win8's "Refresh PC" option
Cons: -Unstable OS for Radeon HD 7k series, the most stable drivers for this series is 12.6 (for Windows 7), which is the last driver before the unstable-fest that comes with COMPATIBLE Windows 8 drivers (12.8 drivers and above. -Metro UI -"Apps" are useless -When clicking on links, it uses IE unless you disable it -It's overpriced for the headaches this OS gives
Overall Review: -I also blame AMD for having BAD drivers but also Windows 8 for not releasing any type of patch to fix ANY of the 3d application bugs -I bought the Home Premium version -If you're planning to game a lot and you want to TRY Windows 8, buy the Pro version or above because this OS is very buggy with many 3d applications and at the moment, there isn't much support to fix these bugs leaving Windows 8 in a bug-fest for any game. -I really wish I could roll back to Windows 7
Budget Wonder

Pros: -Fast booting times, thanks to the SSD. -Light -Chromebook overall makes complete use of its resources, thank you Chrome OS. -HDMI, USB 3.0, and the SD card slot makes this a feature-full budget laptop. -Ability to prolong the life of the battery to about 7 hours! -Google Drive gives you gigabytes (not sure how many GBs) of storage when registering the chromebook for a year. -The track-pad, I believe, is great; see other thoughts. -The overall feel for the laptop is sturdy enough for regular use. In other words it doesn't feel flimsy. -Keyboard is easy to work with. -Picked this up for $222, CHEAP.
Cons: -No Adobe Flash Support, but perhaps there's an app that enables it. -Screen is cheap but, you get what you pay for. -Doesn't come in different colors.
Overall Review: -I understand some people might use more than 16GB but you have to make some compromises; the SSD really attracts me more than a larger mechanical drive at this price, it helps tremendously with boot speeds. -The track-pad is amazing (or I might be easily amazed), it doesn't have two extra buttons like a traditional track-pad does but what the chromebook does instead is allows the user to use two fingers and by either tapping or clicking on the track-pad it is translated to a right-click. Same with a single finger that translates to a left-click. Similar to tablet configs.
Great Buy

Pros: -1080p -No problems with refresh rate on games -still working perfectly fine -color correction auto-tuner! -Great pivotal frame
Cons: -None
Overall Review: -I mention refresh rate because I know someone who bought a monitor with a refresh rate of 59Hz while it advertised 60Hz, this gave him issues with games. Luckily, this monitor certainly is 60Hz.
Super-Silent

Pros: -There is just enough space to add all of your high-end components. -Awesomely SMALL -Fits my huge Hyper 212. -Can support a long video card up to 13" I would say... mine is 11.27" and there's more space for about 2 inches -SILENT case fans. -Integrated fan controller; which contributes to the super silent case fans. -Looks sleek and cute HDD LED at the bottom right of the front of the case. -Black Interior is always a plus :)
Cons: -Can only support a PSU up to 160mm; PLEASE make sure that if your PSU is modular it needs to be at least 5-10mm less than 160mm. -Bring zip-ties or any cable managing mechanisms, you'll need them. -The fan filter for the GPU hits one of my GPU's fan blades a bit but just enough that it makes a buzzing noise. I fix this by placing heavy books on top of my case to stretch the shell that the case covers; which works, but after my GPU's fan speed picks up, the problem remains.
Overall Review: -a modular PSU can be extremely useful when it comes to cable management -Again, make sure your PSU is no longer than 160mm IF you have a long video card (sorry I didn't mention that above); but, regardless it should be less than 160mm (My older one was 20mm too long :c ) -I couldn't reach the bottom left screw of the PSU mount because its cramped in a tight corner, the 3 screws shall do though. -Heat inside the case doesn't seem to be a major issue considering its such a small case. Usually stays idle at 30C with the fan controller on "M", which should be 6v. -I REALLY wish I could have given this case 5 eggs but, the shell that covers the case being either too long or short did affect the rating... Core PC Specs: -i5 4670k -AsRock Z87E-ITX -Hyper 212 -Powercolor 7870 2GB OC Vortex II Ed. -Seasonic S12II 520 (Non-modular) - HyperX 8GB DDR3 *Will make another review in the future, perhaps in 3 months
Guilded Series

Pros: It looks nice, ran fine for the first 2 months.
Cons: This card is long and it has an extremely damaging driver issue. This card in particular throttles in game from 1150/1250 to 350/150 almost immediately after running a game. I've tried everything and this stinkin' card still doesn't stop throttling. Did I mention it reaches 70C easily? The card boasts silence while the fan speed is capped at 50%. After 60% it sounds like a jet taking off. Terrible cooling design.
Overall Review: This card performs well on other rigs but, maybe I just got a defective card. I really wish I could have replaced it sooner. It seems as if AMD abandoned this card of all driver support. Save yourself headaches and a hole in your pocket and stay away from the 7xxx series.
