Most Favorable Review

I love this CPU!

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G - Ryzen 7 5000 G-Series Cezanne (Zen 3) 8-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM4 65W AMD Radeon Graphics Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000263BOX
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G - Ryzen 7 5000 G-Series Cezanne (Zen 3) 8-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM4 65W AMD Radeon Graphics Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000263BOX

Pros: -Decent integrated graphics -8 cores -Large 16MB L3 cache (important for single core performance) -Included heatsink/fan -Low TDP -Runs really cool

Cons: None so far!

Overall Review: No complaints! What I love most about it is how cool it runs. I didn't use the included AMD heatsink/fan and instead went with a low profile Noctua solution. Under full load on all 8 cores this thing barely kicks out any warmth. Gotta love 7nm!

Most Critical Review

Lasted about 7 months

Coboc Light-black 6 ft. MFi Certified black Apple 8-pin Lightning Connector to USB Cable for Apple iPhone5, iPad4, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPod Nano 7th Gen - Charge and Sync Cable
Coboc Light-black 6 ft. MFi Certified black Apple 8-pin Lightning Connector to USB Cable for Apple iPhone5, iPad4, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPod Nano 7th Gen - Charge and Sync Cable

Pros: Cheaper and longer than what Apple has available. MFi certified.

Cons: I bought two of these. One stopped working after 7 months; I can only assume the chip inside the connector fried or died somehow. The other one is still functional.

Overall Review: The one that's still working gets far less use than the broken one. Just be advised these cables only last about 6-9 months with regular everyday use.

I love this case!

JONSBO D30 BLACK Mini Micro ATX Computer Case, Aluminum/Steel/Tempered Glass-1 Side, Simple High Compatibility MATX Case, Support 240 Water & 168mm Air Cooling, 355mm GPU Support,Interchangeable Side
JONSBO D30 BLACK Mini Micro ATX Computer Case, Aluminum/Steel/Tempered Glass-1 Side, Simple High Compatibility MATX Case, Support 240 Water & 168mm Air Cooling, 355mm GPU Support,Interchangeable Side

Pros: I had a great time building a microATX gaming rig out of this little guy. Here's a few highlights I really appreciated: the way the power supply mounts in the case. It'll fit your standard sized ATX power supply AND still fit a full-size video card. The power supply mounts in the front and has a cord that travels to the rear (for plug-in to your wall). This design allows the airflow to move from the bottom of the case to the top unobstructed and lemme tell ya, it works VERY well. I put 5 120mm 900rpm noctua fans in the case; two are sucking air from the bottom, one the rear brings in fresh air and the two at the top exhaust it all. When I place my hand over the top of my case, it feels like a furnace. But when I feel around the rest of the case, no hot spots. I also like the removable filter at the bottom of the case; it uses magnets to stay in place and works well. Very easy to remove for cleaning. Construction quality: very good. I didn't come across any barbs or finger/hand slicers. The glass side panel is very sturdy. Design quality: very good. Someone complained about it being impossible to route cables... not sure where they learned to do cable routing. There are plenty of anchor points for zip ties... and plenty of room to route cables behind the motherboard tray. Take your time, think it through and you'll have no problem routing cables with this case. I did an O.K. job, as you can see in the pictures. I could've done better, but it's just a PC. I'm not building national defense hardware here. Note: this does NOT have a 5.25 bay. The front does not open. My build: ASROCK Steel Legend x570 MicroATX motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 5700x Rosewill CMG850 850w ATX power supply ASRock AMD Radeon 6700 XT Challenger (12GB) 2TB m.2 32GB of RAM 500GB 2.5GB SSD from a previous build mounted in this

Cons: A more easily removable rear fan filter would have been nice. In order to remove the rear fan filter, you must remove the side panel. The color white was not available.

Overall Review: This is an excellent case for someone looking for a small form factor that can fit some powerful hardware AND cool it effectively. OH, and it's only $100. It's a really good deal!

Works! Somewhat slow shipping.

AsRock Rack TPM2-S Accessory TPM 2.0 Module TPM Module NUVOTON NPCT650 17 Pin
AsRock Rack TPM2-S Accessory TPM 2.0 Module TPM Module NUVOTON NPCT650 17 Pin

Pros: Easy install. Worked right away. Didnt have to configure anything in the BIOS.

Cons: Shipping took 9 days

Overall Review: If youre like me and didnt realize you need this module for Windows 11, this will solve the issue. Yes, there are work arounds but security is important to me. Anyway, this is the 17 pin module (there are different pin counts out there). I didnt have to configure anything in the BIOS after install. Pro tip! If you cant get windows 10 to get the This PC doesnt currently meet the Windows 11 requirement message to go away in Windows update, just download and install the Windows 11 Installation Assistant. It will force Windows 10 to update regardless of that annoying message. Shipping: a little slow. Took 9 days to travel 2 states. Dont expect this quickly.

Keep this in mind: you must have a TPM module on your motherboard for the Windows 11 upgrade

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro - Full Retail Version (USB Flash Drive)
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro - Full Retail Version (USB Flash Drive)

Pros: -USB 3.0 drive for quick and fast install

Cons: -Windows 11 requires a TPM module (google it) on your motherboard if you want the upgrade. It will NOT install without this chip. Check your motherboard! And if you're buying a new motherboard, ensure it comes with a TPM module (or, at the very least, ensure your motherboard supports a TPM module). I ended up having to buy a TPM module for $40 to get Windows 11 to install.

Overall Review: Overall I'm happy with the packaging and drive. No hitches. Just make sure you have a TPM module if you plan to upgrade to Windows 11.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11 WITHOUT A SEPARATE TPM MODULE!!!

ASRock X570 STEEL LEGEND WIFI AX AM4 AMD X570 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock X570 STEEL LEGEND WIFI AX AM4 AMD X570 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: -Supports all the latest Ryzen 7 and 9 processors out of the box. I installed an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Cezanne (7nm) with no issues. -Dual video out (DisplayPort & HDMI) supports two displays using the integrated graphics on my Ryzen 7 5700G. -Intel 802.11ax and Intel bluetooth chips for wireless -2x M.2 slots -Tons of USB 3.1 and 3.2 ports, plus one USB-C 3.2 port (all on I/O) -Great driver support and updating with ASRock's software

Cons: -No TPM Module, which is 100% required to run Windows 11 -As others have stated the BIOS leaves a lot to be desired, but it's sufficient for my purposes

Overall Review: Apologies for yelling in the title, but I think it's important my review gets anyone's attention who wants to upgrade to Windows 11. This motherboard does not have the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) REQUIRED for Windows 11. Windows 11 will literally not install or upgrade without the TPM module. I repeat: this motherboard does not have a TPM module. HOWEVER, it does have a 17 pin header for a TPM module to be installed on your own. So, you can make this motherboard Windows 11 compatible, but you MUST buy the 17 pin TPM module separately. It's about $40 on Newegg; I just ordered an ASRock TPM module. The M.2 slots: there's an actively cooled heatsink that sits on top of both M.2 slots. A lot of buyers have complained about this... I honestly don't know what the problem is. It's 3 little screws! Remove them, carefully peel back the heatsink, remove the tape on the back of the heatsink that bonds with your NVMe M.2 SSD, and viola! you're done. It wasn't a problem for me... I'm a little miffed at the fact that ASRock couldn't integrate or include a TPM module, especially considering it's requirement for Windows 11. Aside from that and having to spend another $40 for a stupid chip, I'm happy with this board so far. ASRock: please start including the TPM on your motherboards... many folks, including myself, were unaware of this requirement for Windows 11.
