Good scanner; minor annoyances
Pros: Compared to the old clunker of a scanner I had, the V330 is fast, quiet, produces better images, and has better software. The installation process went very smoothly. I put in the CD, followed directions, and it all just worked. (This was with 64-bit W7) It even automatically checked for updates, downloaded, and installed them. I like the software interface. It could be better...but it's not bad.
Cons: The cover doesn't press down hard enough to flatten out curled photos completely -- and every photo has a curl to it. The inside of the cover has some "give" to it, and it gives too much. The problem is readily solved by putting a book on the photo instead of the cover, but it's a minor annoyance. The way the film frames and the white reflector surface are stored in the cover is kind of kludgy. The white reflector surface, in particular, is liable to come unhooked at the slighted provocation and flop around. This isn't all that big a deal, but it's another minor annoyance. It could probably be fixed with the application of a little tape, but what it really needs is a better latching system.
Overall Review: Others have commented on the weird placement of the USB and power jacks. I haven't found this to be a problem -- just odd.
Incompatible
Pros: It appears to be well-made memory.
Cons: For whatever reason, it turned out to be incompatible with my motherboard even though all the specs (DDR3, speed, voltage, non-ECC, etc.) appear to be okay. Either that or it was DOA, which doesn't seem likely.
Overall Review: I suggest you verify with your motherboard company or A-Data that the memory has been verified compatible before you buy it and not rely only on the published specs. Actually, I suppose that caveat applies to buying any brand of memory.
I find it incredibly esasy to mis-type on it
Pros: Quality keyboard
Cons: I find it incredibly easy to mis-type on this keyboard. I keep pressing extra keys by mistake. I don't know if a different model switch would help. Maybe one requiring more pressure would suit me better.
Good no-frills memory
Pros: I've always liked Kingston memory. It just works. It doesn't have a flashy appearance, but in motorcycle parlance, "Chrome don't get you home." Why pay for fancy-looking computer memory?
Cons: None I can think of.
No complaints
Pros: It works. Decent key feel. How much can you say about a basic keybooard? This one does the job and seems reliable and solid.
Cons: None.
After 10 months, no problems
Pros: I got this router about 10 months ago. Originally I thought I would run the standard firmware -- it worked fine -- but curiosity got the better of me and I replaced it with the Tomato firmware. For the past 10 months it has Just Worked with nary a hiccup. I think the Tomato firmware may be slightly faster than the stock firmware, and of course there is DD-WRT for fans of that. You can update as you choose, or stay stock. In my experience, the thing is totally reliable.
Cons: About the only things I'd like that it doesn't have are an on-off switch and some provision for hanging it on a wall.
