problems with 6TB drives.

LSI LSI00301 (9207-8i) PCI-Express 3.0 x8 Low Profile SATA / SAS Host Controller Card--Avago Technologies
LSI LSI00301 (9207-8i) PCI-Express 3.0 x8 Low Profile SATA / SAS Host Controller Card--Avago Technologies

Pros: Works so far.

Cons: Had to re-flash P19 firmware to make it work correctly with 6TB HGST HDD. I bought 4 6TB HGST (H3IKNAS600012872SN) to use with this adapter. After trying to run badblocks to test drives It started to produce constantly increasing UDMA_CRC_Error_Count SMART counter. After replacing cable, trying hdd in onboard SATA port and extensive googling problem was localized to adapter. After re-flashing to P19 (from P20) error disappeared (error counter stopped increasing) and drives successfully passed full run of badblock scan.

Most Critical Review

It works, but with some problems.

ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: It works pretty stable. but problems mentioned in cons are pretty annoying.

Cons: - this board has very noisy power supply. Sometimes just scrolling page in the browser it makes high pitch noise or under some circumstances very audible buzz. - compatibility problems. I have OCZ-AGILITY II SSD as boot drive. multiple problems booting from the drive. (that drive worked on my previous board without any problem). Sometimes BIOS (meaning EFI) won't see the drive until several restarts. Even after drive is detected makes it hard for boot as it stops halfway on system boot. Some investigation of the problem showed that booting problem may be related to incompatibility of this board with Linux. And Asus refuses to fix the problem. To be fair I've updated both BIOS and SSD firmware to latest version, but problem won't go away. So I can't have remote reboot and be sure that system will came back as expected. - this is problem for many other boards as well, but it doesn't have ATX mounting holes on the edge near memory and power supply connector. So during installation of memory and connecting power board can flex and/or damage.

Overall Review: System Configuration i7-4770k Z78-A 32GB RAM (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series) 60GB OCZ-AGILITY II SSD 4 HDD (1TB, 1TB, 2TB, 2TB) Linux Mint

POWEREX MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer w/4pcs 2700mAh AA Rechargeable Batteries
POWEREX MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer w/4pcs 2700mAh AA Rechargeable Batteries

Pros: -separate programs for each battery. -break-in program for battery forming -flexible programming modes

Cons: -bright LCD doesn't go off (it would be nice to turn off back light after some time of inactivity from user)

Overall Review: It would be nice to have Discharge & Charge program which discharge partially discharged cell and then proceeds to charging automatically without need to change program manually. I like this charger. It gives a lot of information about battery.
