ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB, ZT-90101-10P
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB, ZT-90101-10P

Pros: Does just about everything I ask of it. Big improvement over my AMD Radeon 7870, 4GB of RAM helps power my two 23" monitors and my third 27" monitor to boot! Loads of features, and was nice and compact, compared to the other cards with triple fans. Still stays very cool and power draw is comparatively low to other cards in its class. Runs everything from Space Engineers to Supreme Commander to Minecraft and back!

Cons: Coil whine is apparent when playing some games and apps, most notable FaceRig. Google what "Coil Whine" is to see if you can put up with it or not. It's not a big issue for me, but when I am recording on FaceRig, I need to throw away the recorded audio and overlay a new clean track because of it, which is a bit of an annoyance. Also, although the card says that it is HDCP compliant over HDMI, it doesn't allow my 27" monitor to play Blu-ray on it over HDMI (says it is not HDCP compatible), even though my old card did. I can play movies just fine on my two 23" monitors, but the second I move the Also the monitor plays Blu-Ray when a standalone Blu-ray player is connected to it, so the monitor is DEFINITELY HDCP compatible.

Overall Review: If you want a triple monitor setup, this is the card for you. But be aware that Blu-ray MAY NOT play on some monitors connected to this card...

Good Value, If It Arrives In One Piece

Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Expansion Ready: Internal 3.5" Bays & External 5.25" Bays, 3 Pre-installed Fans with Side Fan Mount Option
Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Expansion Ready: Internal 3.5" Bays & External 5.25" Bays, 3 Pre-installed Fans with Side Fan Mount Option

Pros: Good value for what you get, 3 good fans, good layout and finish, some unexpected features (removable PSU intake filter).

Cons: Really flimsy (ESPECIALLY the plastic face plate), thumb screws are really tight, had to use a screwdriver, which defeat the purpose of tool-less thumb screws...

Overall Review: This may be more of an issue with shipping, but the flimsiness of the front face plate didn't help: When I picked up the cardboard box containing the case after getting it, I heard rattling. Hoping it was just some loose screws or something, I opened the box and slid it out. Immediately the ENTIRE FRONT FACE PLATE fell on the floor. The plastic standoffs holding the front face plate in place were sheared off completely, all 6 of them. No other damage to the case was found. It effectively means I lose the nice layout for the Power/Reset buttons and HDD LED, the front panel items (2 USB 2.0, audio and SATA connectors) and all frontal dust protection. Fortunately, being that this is a functional build for LAN parties, I'm just going to duct tape the front panel board and buttons to the FDD bay, go front plate-less and call it day. It wouldn't be worth my time and effort to RMA what essentially amounts to a $25 case after rebates. Rosewill: Could you send me a new front face plate? Everything else is OK. Otherwise, I won't bother shipping this case back. I'll just live with it as is... tl;dr - If you're building a nice machine, you may want to steer clear of this case... I guess you get what you pay for. :P

Works!

Omni Gear HDMI-2-HDMI 6 ft. Black HDMI to HDMI 2.0 Cable (4K Ultra HD) Male to Male
Omni Gear HDMI-2-HDMI 6 ft. Black HDMI to HDMI 2.0 Cable (4K Ultra HD) Male to Male

Pros: Cheap, works as it should. Enough length so that it's not too short for most applications, but not unwieldy either. Quality is good, not noticeable drop in picture quality.

Cons: none so far...

Awesome Card, but Dual Monitors Users Beware

MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R7870-2GD5T/OC
MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R7870-2GD5T/OC

Pros: This card is pretty powerful, and for it to arrive OCed already make this card a shoe-in. It paired nicely with my XFX Double D 7870, and I saw gains of 70-80% on some of my games. All in all, pretty good bang for the buck.

Cons: One caveat is if you have dual monitors and are planning to use Crossfire mode. I thought you could just plug one monitor into each and use Crossfire, but the second monitor only works with Crossfire off in this configuration. I had to put both monitor plugs into my other XFX card in order to get both working with crossfire mode on. Doesn't come with a Crossfire Bridge either. No biggy as I got one with my other card, but for those who buy 2 of these to Crossfire, be aware of the needed extra purchase. Also, no HDMI > DVI connector, so if you have 2 DVI monitors, you will have to buy that also...

Overall Review: These cards are valued around $230, but wait for a sale. I picked this card up for about $165 after MIR, which is an AWESOME deal. Don't pay full price for this card, as a better card at the $250 price range would be the NVidia Geforce 760GTX (if it's on sale).

Battery Works Great!

Superb Choice® 6-cell DELL Studio 1555 Laptop Battery
Superb Choice® 6-cell DELL Studio 1555 Laptop Battery

Pros: Holds charge well, replaced a non-OEM battery that replaced the original in my Dell Studio 1555 laptop. The charge indicator is very handy, as some non-OEM batteries do not have this.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Shipping was pretty fast and reasonable. And the price was good too. I recommend this buy.

Does it's job, but barely

SYBA Spyker 12" - 15.4" Notebook Cooler Pad with Giant 16cm Cooling Fan CL-NBK68015
SYBA Spyker 12" - 15.4" Notebook Cooler Pad with Giant 16cm Cooling Fan CL-NBK68015

Pros: It has a large fan that moves air well, good height spacing, and legs fold up neatly. It has an on/off switch, in case you want to use it passively, or if the blue light annoys someone across the room.

Cons: Has high angle and low angle, high angle is useless because the front clips that are supposed to hold the laptop in place are too dinky to properly support anything. There are 2 USB slots, but one needs to be used as power, and the other doesn't pass any data at all, just power. So essentially the USB ports are useless. Other than that it does its job.

Good value for the money

This was just what my friends needed to replace their aging (and dying) Compaq. Good features, still a mid tower and a Pro version of Windows 7. Good bang for the buck. Shipped pretty quickly as well!
