This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H55 CW-9060010-WW/RF Quiet CPU Coolers Manufactured Recertified
Pros: Installs multi-directional, small diameter tubing which makes it much more flexible, especially for itx builds.
Metal attachments for installing are newer style and easier to deal with.
Cons: When the pump is set to full speed, it makes a very audible sound, turn the speed down (bios setting) a bit and no noise at all and doesn't get any hotter doing so.
be careful of the threads and screws, they can easily be stripped...needs a lite hand
Other Thoughts: makes gurgling noises at the start (pumping water, go figure) heads up
extremely easy to install in my silverstone sg13 and Asrock H97M-ITX / i3 4170 (can get hot 65c+ while gaming with this aio), would take this over a h75 for itx.
h60 tubing is really stiff compared, going to get another one of these for my cooler master e110 itx (odd tight fit)
The base piece under the motherboard did not come with double stick tape, don't need it anyways
8gb mem Gskill@1600
Radeon RX 470 4gb stock speed
128gb ssd for OS and a 2tb hdd 2.5 for data
Zalman Fan Mate 2 attched to radiator fan (great way to keep noise down)
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H75 CW-9060015-WW/RF Water Cooler
Pros: round h/s plate , makes it universal as to what direction it can be installed (compared to h60)
flexible tubes (compared to h60)
Cons: be careful with threading screws, can easily be stripped
be careful threading the screws in too far, h60 doesn't have safety plates to stop the screws from hitting into radiator fins but i think the h75 does, but even those are bendable, really thin metal
Other Thoughts: have purchased two of these cert-refurbed h75's and going to get a third, they fit well with Silverstone itx case sg13READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: works properly so far, good price
Cons: has rust in the threads that hold onto fan, would go from 50c to 90c in no time.
got an open box clearly, have to spend time and more money to send back
Retraction, all though there is orange on the inside of one of the threads I can not say that it is rust, I installed it with the tubes coming out next to the vid card (trying to fit in Silverstone SG13 mitx) and didn't notice that the heatsink block has to sit a certain way as to not sit on top of the capacitors next to cpu on a ECS Z97I-DRONE (also does the same thing on my Asrock h97m-itx) which is what I did, took it off and only the edges of the thermal paste had been touched (it was less than a 1/16 so it looked level).
Installed it the right direction and all is good so far.
Other Thoughts: I tried it next to the memory but no go due to stiff tubes, pulled it off and turned it one more time to where the tubes go out towards the back of the motherboard but didn't re-apply tim (after it touched cpu , lazy) and it still works just fine.
To not have the one direction problem, go with a round plate like the H75, plus it has more flexible tubing
