Wow, that was fast.

Patriot Supersonic Boost XT 8GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive PEF8GSBUSB
Patriot Supersonic Boost XT 8GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive PEF8GSBUSB

Pros: 80-90 mbps read. This will transfer a 500 meg file in mere seconds. I expected it to be faster due to being USB 3.0, but I had no idea it would be this fast. Well worth the price. Just make sure you're using USB 3.0.

Cons: doesn't do the dishes

Overall Review: Get it

Garbage

Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver for iPhone 3G/3GS / iPhone 4 / iPod touch 2nd Gen (F8Z492-P)
Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver for iPhone 3G/3GS / iPhone 4 / iPod touch 2nd Gen (F8Z492-P)

Pros: It actually does connect to the iphone, which is why I gave it one star.

Cons: Everything else. The sound quality of this device is atrocious. I mean like....turn your $500 speakers into cereal box speakers. It's terrible. Sounds like it clips 30-40% of the actual acoustical data it's being fed. Do not waste your money or time on this. It will leave you feeling duped.

Overall Review: Just Don't Do It.

Failed after 1 year 4 months

Edimax IC-7110W Cloud Wireless-N IP Camera, 1.3 Mpx Lens, 1280x1024 Resolution, Pan & Tilt, Night Vision, H.264, SD card Slot, Plug-n-View, Free EdiView APP for Smartphone
Edimax IC-7110W Cloud Wireless-N IP Camera, 1.3 Mpx Lens, 1280x1024 Resolution, Pan & Tilt, Night Vision, H.264, SD card Slot, Plug-n-View, Free EdiView APP for Smartphone

Pros: Excellent resolution, and powerful IR beam for night time viewing. Movement of camera is responsive. Microphone is sensitive, and the web UI is very thorough.

Cons: Disclaimer: I am of the thought that electronics are not eternal, however I feel that if I paid over $100 for an ipcam it should at least last 2 years. Product died completely after 1 year and 4 months usage. All three lights light up on unit, and unit is unreachable. Buy with caution. I believe the failure was due to excessive heat that the unit was unable to deal with, being that there are no active cooling features on it, and honestly I have yet to see one that features active cooling. If you do buy it, keep it in a place that may have airflow.

Overall Review: If I were dissatisfied I would have given less than 2 eggs, but honestly it's a good camera. It just failed when all the other cameras I have in my house are still going strong after years of continual use. Edimax is a good brand. I have another edimax camera that is still working after years of use.

Solid Camera

EDIMAX IC-3030Wn Triple Mode, H.264, MPEG4, or MJPEG, Wireless 11n 1T1R Internet IP Camera; 1.3M Pixel for Max. Resolution 1280x1024; External SD Card and Live View for iPhone / Smart Phone Supported
EDIMAX IC-3030Wn Triple Mode, H.264, MPEG4, or MJPEG, Wireless 11n 1T1R Internet IP Camera; 1.3M Pixel for Max. Resolution 1280x1024; External SD Card and Live View for iPhone / Smart Phone Supported

Pros: High-res camera. More accurate colors than your standard ipCam. I've own the Foscam FI8918W, Two Zmodo CM-I11123BKs, one Cisco Linksys WVC210. This camera is the best of the 4 that I use. The image is very sharp, and the camera is always up. I use dyndns services and the camera is always reachable. I've had to reset this camera only once.

Cons: No night vision, but I knew that when I purchased it. The SC card slot and saving functions should just be written out. It flat out wouldn't work, no matter what I tried. Luckily I did not purchase the camera for this purpose.

Overall Review: Overall a good buy if you are using your camera to keep watch remotely over your home or kids. If you're looking for a camera which will save, or one for continuous recording suggest looking elsewhere. In fact you should purchase a DVR system for that. I will continue to buy edimax. If you're using an iPhone be sure to download IP Cam Viewer Pro

Great router.

ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router
ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router

Pros: This router has all the bells and whistles you could ever imagine. From DLNA, to NAS to FTP this router is boss. When I log into the firmware page I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. So many different things to mess with. The firmware is lightning quick (which is about its strongest point). I haven't had a chance to try out the dual band function, however I have a 450mbps pcie wireless card arriving soon to test. Has a mini-bios to allow for restoration of firmware (freaking awesome).

Cons: I honestly think newegg should remove the "dd-wrt" label they place on the listing. This router most certainly *will* be able to run DD-WRT when they finish compiling guides on how to go about installing it. Let me tell you, DD-WRT will probably temp-brick your router when you upgrade from the initial flash firmware. (everything's too new). Do yourself a favor for now and search for N66U tomato firmware. Installs flawlessly. See below on how to fix temp-bricking.

Overall Review: If you feel you've bricked your router, don't get frustrated. First download the newest router firmware from asus. Hold down the button between the wan port, and the usb ports. Turn your router off, then back on, all while holding the button. Your power LED should begin to flash slowly (on for a few seconds, then off). This is restoration mode. Set your computer's ip address to 192.168.1.2, subnet 255.255.255.0, and gateway 192.168.1.1. Install the utilities that came with the CD, and run Firmware restoration, select your firmware, and let it run to 100%. You will probably then need to do a 30/30/30 reset. (Hint: the reset button on this router is actually the WPS button). Hold the WPS button for a total of 90 seconds. After the first 30 seconds, turn off the router, and wait 30 seconds, then power the router back up (and wait 30 seconds). Do all of this with the wps button held. After about a minute you will have your stock firmware back.

Fast but not 100% Stable

OCZ Solid 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC SLD3-25SAT3-120G
OCZ Solid 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC SLD3-25SAT3-120G

Pros: Extremely fast and when you upgrade the firmware it is quite stable. No more clicky hard drive noise.

Cons: When first purchased the drive would regularly freeze. After first firmware update the drive became more stable but would blink out and leave me at "no boot device found". Honestly I expected a few hiccups so this didn't bother me at all. Updated firmware to newest version and have had no problems so far. If you aren't willing to learn about the problems you may face with cutting edge ssds and expect them to be perfect then stick with the HDDs.

Overall Review: Reasonable tech knowledge is a must for this drive.
