Do these speakers make noise when a cell phone is near them sending or receiving data?

I used them at my desk in very close proximity to where my cell phone was kept and never had any issues, however different cell phones use different antenna technology. The type of network your service provider is on may matter too. I have an iphone and am on At&t (a GSM network). For the price I'm quite happy with them though. Hope this helps.

It is just a speaker system, if you have a audio input on your computer there should be no problem I would think

How long are the cables between the speakers? The set I have now is maybe 2.5 feet. Need a little bit more distance to accommodate for dual monitors.

The cable between the two speakers is about 3 feet 4 inches.
