It depends - See the manufacturer's specifications here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817395008, scroll down, and choose the "Specifications" tab. Look for "Power Input". If you rely on the USB "bus power" only, it can only provide a maximum of 100 mA per port. If you use the provided External Power Adapter, it can provide up to 900 mA per port.
