Does this product automatically turn on when the home supplied power fails, is it rechargeable and will it run a CPAP machine?

Hello John E, This product does come on automatically when there's a power failure; as long as it's connected and powered to the device your providing power to. In your case, it looks like your CPAP machine is obviously a medical device. I would probably go to the link I've provided for NewEgg CyberPower units that shows their line of Pure Sine Machines that are probably more suitable for your application. Medical devices are very sensitive to power fluctuations and require a higher quality of Battery/Surge protection. How noisy is this unit? (Audible noise) I don't see a noise rating. The competing APC unit seems to have an audible noise rating of about 45dBa

When passively working, completely silent. When active a quiet hum, and the alert beep is loud however I'm not sure of the actual decibels. I disable the alarm.

Anyone have RFI (radio frequency interference) noise interference on receivers and radios with Cyber Power UPS?

None for me.  I have one sitting directly behind my Yamaha tuner without any problems.  (It has kicked in several times during power outages and still no RF interference.)   I also use them at the office and they don't seem to have any effect on cell phones or radios there either.   Very good UPS.

I have a 1050Watt power supply on my FSX computer. What I'm looking for is something that will protect my computer from power surges and give me time to shut down the computer properly in the event of a power outage. Will this product accomplish that for me?

It also matters whether your PC's power supply is Power Factor Corrected. If it is, then you want to use a UPS that can supply a Pure Sine Wave and supports PFC power supplies. Note, the UPS with Pure Sine Wave will support both PFC PC Power supplies and non-PFC PC Power supplies.

If you use a SERIES MODE power filter in front of this UPS, you can do so safely in a home or apartment that does not have a 3-prong outlet. The SERIES MODE power filter does not use the GROUND connection and will not contaminate GROUND the way a conventional MOV based surge suppressor would, including the surge suppressor in this UPS. That way you'll also be protecting this surge suppressor. Look for SERIES MODE units made by ZeroSurge, Brickwall or SurgeX. Only SurgeX is sold here on Newegg as well, however ZeroSurge has the best pricing (it's also the inventor of the SERIES MODE technology).

It should work with any system.  The more power you require, the shorter time the backup will work.  I have a tower with similar specs to yours except I don't have the gaming hardware.  I also run a 23inch monitor, cable modem, four channel router and speaker system.  The UPS software monitors usage and it usually says I can run about 45 minutes after a power loss.  I'm pretty happy with the unit.

I need a battery backup for my computer that will last at least an hour. Will this work, or what do you suggest?

If you only have the computer hooked up to it, yes.  However, any monitor hooked up will increase the drain and decrease the time.  The included software does have ability to set an autoshutdown time that will kick off on your computer (if you install it).

(My usage) I have 23" LED monitor, computer, router and cable modem plugged in and it shows a 20% load and about 30 min of battery backup.

Could this safely be used inside a passenger vehicle for a car PC?

It probably could.  Are you going to run it off of an OEM inverter or have you installed an aftermarket inverter.  Check the power output to ensure that it can drive the UPS. I would think that there are better options for a vehicle mounted UPS.  It would have to depend on the application. Does your PC run on AC?  A better option may be to change the power supply to a 12 VDC and then run off the vehicle battery.
