if you mean can you silence the week worn out battery alarm
like I had on another unit after like 6 years than probably not
I just replaced the battery on that unit and everything is great.

if you have a newer unit and you are getting an alarm it might
be that you have too much drain on your unit .... in that case unplug
some of the devices plugged into the battery backup side of the unit.
   I had to do this as I have 8 external drives as well as the computer
{ with 6 internal drives} on this one unit

Are the batteries "Hot-Swappable?"

Nope. Not that fancy. Hot swappable batteries are typically encased in an chassis that can be ejected and slid into the contacts. And those kinds of batteries alone are almost always pricier than this UPS.
