Pros: Heavy duty and sturdy rack mountable power strip. Nice long power cable and switch guard to prevent accidental power offs.
Cons: Three bright LEDs stay on all the time which is really unnecessary.
Overall Review: I mounted this on the backside of a home theater rack and I essentially lost access to the outlets on the back of unit because it backed up next to the audio receiver. This was expected by my design. Ensure YOU have planned to have enough rack space to accommodate backside access if you need all the outlets.
Pros: Don't go real deep in rack don't get real hot plenty of space between outlets.
Overall Review: Simple yet effective design.
Pros: Lots of outlets. Can be mounted to a pair of pillars with a few screws. Plenty of cord length to plug into a socket and go where you need it to go. Still running strong after three years of constant usage. Great price.
Cons: Has a very quiet but still perceptible buzz sound generated when flipped on when a lot of power is being drawn from it.
Overall Review: Buy it. You won't regret it.
Pros: It fit
Has more than enough outlets for a home office.
Overall Review: No fires, no outages, good to go
Overall Review: Perfect addition to my new rack. Perfect fit and provides great power. Especially appreciate the rear-facing outlets. Great product!
Pros: * Cheap
* Has indicator lights so you know it's powered and protected
Cons: Honestly... it does exactly what it's supposed to. No real cons. For me the power cord was way too long, but that's not a con, since for others it may be just right!
Overall Review: Great affordable way to add 12 NEMA 5-15P plugs to your rack. This has been added to my home lab rack, connected to a rack mount UPS and powers all my servers/networking gear.
Pros: outlet spacing in back wall wart friendly
long heavy duty cord
status led lights
Cons: plastic switch cover very flimsy
Overall Review: I had to actually try and come up with a con. This thing does what is advertised and is a great value. Very pleased.
Pros: The power outlets on the back are far enough apart from one another that the bulkiest bricks will work without a problem. The front ones are great for regular plugs. Nice hefty design.
Cons: None, so far.
Overall Review: I was looking for a power strip / surge protector for my media center and ended up settling with this one. Much nicer than the consumer (belkin) stuff.
I wish you could get any decent surge protector with a white cable. Not even most of the consumer brands have white ones.
