  • If the input side overcurrent protection device is in a different area of your facility, having the input circuit breaker at the UPS adds an extra disconnect point for easy bypass during repairs or maintenance.
  • The output circuit breaker also provides protection if your load is connected directly to the UPS without an appropriate overcurrent protection device.
