Does this computer come with a wireless card installed?

It does not. I use it wired and it works perfectly. I did buy and tested a USB wireless adapter and it worked really well

No optical drive, but looks like they still send disks? What?

This is due to the design of the case. An external cd/dvd drive is needed. So far tho, I am loving this computer!

Yes if you really need that much storage. This system has been very reliable. It requires only 15 seconds to start and/or shut down. For the price it's an excellent gamer.

It has two DVI.  One is DVI-D and one is DVI-I.

No, this chassis does not actually have an installation point for a 5.25" optical drive, however this can be resolved by utilizing a USB connected optical drive

Is the motherboard a generic, mass-purchase type board? One review says "lots of room for expansion" and another says "hard drives are tough to get to and only one PCI-E slot"

Indeed there is only one PCI-e on the MB and the Nvidia graphics board occupies it. The HDD are easy to get to as they are loaded from the side and there are 4 available HDD trays. The MB appears to be generic. There are 5 PCIe slots in the rear of the cabinet and at least 2 PCIe power connectors but no data from the MB. There is all kinds of room in the cabinet BUT the MB is very limited.
