CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Xtreme 1314 Intel Core i5 2500K (3.30 GHz) 8 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD AMD Radeon HD 6670 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Pros: Sandy bridge 2500k CPU is ranked in the top 30 CPUs of 2011 (even above the i7 975 965 960 and 875k) in terms of performance. The GPU for this machine is also above average (especially for the price! I expected a grabage graphics card for what I'm paying but this GPU is more than adequate for modern gaming). To top it off, 8GB of DDR3 RAM! All other computer ranked at this price have only 4GB of RAM and a low end graphics card. It's still unbelievable how incredibly inexpensive this unit is, unbeatable physical specs at the price range. Definitely a high end gaming computer.

Cons: Only thing I don't like is the motherboard... could have been better but for what I'm paying, no complaints. The power supply can be easily upgraded and I'm anxiously waiting for this unit to arrive, will update this section later (hopefully not)

Overall Review: I've been shopping for a good dev/gaming pc for almost 2 month now. Through all my digging and research, this PC is probably the best hardware specs you can get at this price (Pre-built).

Pros: -Every component is mid- to high-range -Sandy Bridge i5 and yet the price is still low -Case layout is super clean and has plenty of room for future expansion -If you wanted to upgrade in the future (I will once RAGE is out), it'd be simple and you wouldn't eat much money.

Cons: -Mobo is pretty cheap and not sure how long it'll last -GPU is budget, but understandable given the overall price. And it's still DX11 w/ 1GB RAM... -The aesthetic is a bit too young for an old dude like me (minor gripe) -PSU wattage *might* be a concern if you're planning ambitious future upgrades. Modular would have been nice.

Overall Review: I was convinced I'd be scammed over somehow in this deal. The price was simply too good to be true. My Windows key didn't work initially, and I thought "here we go..." but it revalidated fine. Now that I've got my drivers and everything running, I can say this is quite simply the best tower deal out there in terms of bang for your buck. I had a similar DIY list I was making before I saw this deal and the cost had gone well over $900 (granted the GPU [Geforce 560TI] was better, but not by that much!). Of course, something could happen and I will surely let people know if it does. I usually build my own towers, but I have to admit they put this thing together much cleaner than I could have, even with help from my friends.

Pros: Unbeatable at the price. Intel i5 2500K is a great processor, 8gb of RAM is way better than comparable systems. I expected to have to upgrade the graphics card immediatly, but it has been performing better than I expected too. No problems booting up or anything, worked perfectly out of box.

Cons: The motherboard is pretty junky, if you plan on having two graphics cards in SLI or Crossfire or more than 8gb of RAM eventually you'll need a new one. Power supply would need to be updated too. Case feels a little cheap and is kind of ugly.

Overall Review: Didn't knock off any eggs for the CONS because they aren't really problems with the product, they are to be expected based on price. This is a perfect PC to get and eventually throw some upgrades on. It is powerful enough right now to perform well with any game you want.

Pros: Delivered in less than 36 hours, extremely well packed, machine was exactly as expected. The best prebuilt combination of the features I wanted for an exceptional price.

Cons: Had a little problem getting Windows 7 validated, and had to go through the phone validation. Really not a huge deal.

Overall Review: I researched for about a month, did some online customizations, and researched Cyberpower and IBuypower pretty extensively. So far, I haven't found any issues that some reviews mentioned about Cyberpower's build quality. Seems like a well built machine - I really would have preferred a different case, but it's the guts that make it work. The red lighting is pretty cool, and isn't distracting at night (my computer is in the bedroom). Runs pretty quiet, started right up immediately after unboxing as expected.

Pros: -Very nice rig for the price. -Includes the Windows 7 CD. -Well-ventilated case. -Fast machine. This thing flies, making it possible to use all the Windows 7 eye candy features without slowing the system to a crawl. -Can run WoW, SC, SC2 and older games on the highest graphics settings with no problem at all. You might want to update the graphics card at some point if you play a lot of new, graphics-intensive games though because this isn't a top of the line card by any means. -Easy setup. No garbage bloatware. -No loose parts in either PC (bought 2 of these). I checked before hooking them up because of the reviews, but I guess I got lucky because both were fine. -Looks nice. Yes, the case is large, but it's not ugly or super cheap looking. -Included mouse is actually okay. No extra buttons for gaming, so I won't use it much, but the blue light is nice looking, the mouse is lightweight and the buttons don't feel super cheap.

Cons: Front USB ports are at the very bottom of the case, making them hard to use. Personally, I don't care because I have a USB hub in the back and won't use the front ports much. The front USB ports also seem a little "off." It took some adjusting and quite a bit of pressure to plug in a flash drive that plugs into other PCs just fine. This was the same for mine and my wife's, so I suspect it's an issue with the case or ports. No issues with the back ports though. I'd have liked a better/higher wattage power supply. I suspect I'll be replacing this one eventually, but I've blown power supplies in nearly every PC I've ever had so I'm used to that and I have a couple backups laying around. Keyboard is worthless. Very thin, cheap and basically only good if you need a backup in an emergency. Not a big deal; I doubt anyone is buying this rig for the keyboard. None of this is enough for me to knock off an egg due to the price of this rig.

Overall Review: I bought two of these; one for me and one for my wife as we both wanted new desktops. No problems at all so far. Both PCs were up and running within minutes, and I do not think they are loud at all. Even with two of them running right next to each other the fans are barely audible. It seems some people get lucky and some don't with this machine. I read all of the reviews and debated over this PC for two months before I finally bought it. Researched many, many other rigs and this was the best value I found (pre-built) for the money. If you have an extra $200 to $300 to spend, I'd probably choose a different rig or build one, but this is perfect if you're on a budget and still want a nice, fast PC. I was really hesitant about this because it seemed a decent number of people had issues, but it also looked like the company resolved most of them, so I went ahead. Will update if I have any problems or additional comments in the near future.

Pros: After waiting 2 weeks for Cyberpower to replace the motherboard and send it back to me, the computer finally worked great. I don't know why other customers are saying the fan is loud; the fan on this computer is perfectly quiet in my opinion. The case looks cheap and plastic in the pictures online, but don't be fooled, it looks and feels a lot better in real life. After Cyberpower fixed it, the computer worked like a charm, and I haven't experienced any problems performance-wise for the month that I've had it. It gets to the login screen within about 10 seconds after pressing the power button, and you can basically start opening programs as soon as you login. It goes incredibly fast and run games (TF2, Crysis) extremely well, but I might be emphasizing that a little bit since before I bought this, I was working with a 2007 Dell Vostro 1510, which is a piece of trash by the way. Cons: 5 Hours out of the box after the initial purchase, the PC crashed and would not turn back on. I tried all of the power tests, graphics card tests, and everything else the CyberPowerPC support guy told me to do, and nothing worked. I ended up having to send it back to them, and they had to replace the graphics card along with the rest of the motherboard. I didn't get it back for another 2 weeks. Sometimes, after hibernating the computer, when attempting to turn back on, the computer BSODs and crashes. So I just never hibernate it. Also, for about 2 days after I got it back from CyberPowerPC, whenever I budged the computer or my leg hit the side of it, the computer would suddenly turn off. However, I think that might have just been a loose cable or something, because it's fine now. Nothing happens if I budge it. The graphics card was definitely the biggest issue, when I originally got the computer back, I had to take out the graphics card and put it back in snug so the VGA port worked

Overall Review: I'm only giving the CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1314 Desktop PC 3 of 5 stars because of the bad experience I had at the beginning, with the power failure and having to wait 2 weeks to get the computer back. However, this obviously isn't going to happen to everyone. I would highly recommend getting this desktop if you don't want to spend too much money but still want a functional, upgradeable, working computer that can run modern games very well and can run graphics-intense and processor-intense programs with few problems. This computer is a great computer when nothing goes wrong. When it works, it works very well. I am pleased overall, and I don't regret my decision in getting this desktop.

Pros: This is an update to my review a few days ago.

Cons: I have to take off an egg because I am very annoyed to discover that the HD6670 they used only has 667Mhz DDR3 RAM!!! The HD6670 reference spec is 1000Mhz GDDR5. This is a huge memory bottleneck and it does not perform nearly as fast with the slow memory. They saved perhaps 10 dollars using the inferior RAM and it severely gimps the card. I was able to overclock it to 752Mhz, but this is still waaaaay slower than the GDDR5 that is supposed to be used in a true HD6670.

Pros: Computer is fast, graphics card is good, 8 GB ram, quiet, case is large and looks sharp with the LEDs. Great price.

Cons: 1. The graphics card was loose when it arrived and took me a short while to figure that out. I didn't take off an egg for that because I felt that this isn't completely unreasonable, though it was unexpected. 2. The power supply went out on me 6 days after receiving the computer. Contacted cyberpowerpc tech support and they were very helpful and responsive and sent me a replacement power supply. The computer has worked with no issues since then (been about a month and a half). I had the new power supply after about a week and replaced it myself.

Overall Review: The power supply is pretty cheap. When it went out on me I almost just bought a separate one. The replacement one that I was sent looks even cheaper than the one that was originally with it, but it is getting the job done. The price is tough to beat though and the graphics are running well (mostly tested against starcraft 2).
