This is a fan cooled desktop. My son uses it for gaming and overheating has not been an issue.

Yes the mouse and keyboard come with it. Not the most amazing mouse and keyboard I've ever seen and decided to stick with my own but if you don't have one then it definitely works.

Question 3

Does the PC come with the mouse and keyboard included in the image? Also, when shipped does it come fully built or does the buyer have to build it up themselves?

Yes, it comes with both the keyboard and mouse -- both are decent quality, though the auxiliary mouse keys sometimes "squeak" a bit. The internal components are all installed within the case, so all you have to do is plug your monitor and other peripherals in and power it up.

Is there an audio port in the front where I can easily plug my headphones in? I don't see any in the picture.

Yes, there is an audio port on the top near the front of the computer. Alongside the audio port next to the power button, a reset button, two USB ports, and a microphone port.

Is the graphics card on the motherboard?

If u mean if it is an on board  graphics then no now if u asking if it is a dedicated graphics card then yes.

Btw dedicated graphics means that a card that goes in a PCI slot or etc. if u need more info on subject type what  are dedicated graphics cards.

My 12yr old is looking for a computer that will last longer than 6 months before dying... he plays various games through Steam and Origin like TF2 and some minecraft, 1st person shooters etc- but had always used laptops  Our 1500.xx Asus died completely within the 1yr warranty but the cost to fix was more than this computer costs in full...  I believe he goes through laptops because they overheat so I thought I would try a desktop... he is just learning now how to take the computers apart so building isn't an option.   Was wondering if anyone believe this would be a good computer to start with?  Is the computer upgradable as he learns more?

Mine has lasted over a year so far.
The mobo is a micro board so you don't get a lot of room to put anything else in the PCI slots without potentially blocking the air intake on the graphics card but this shouldn't be a problem for a casual gamer. People that get really into it and want dedicated sound cards or even wireless cards(if they do not come with this anymore) will have this to think about. You only get 2 slots for ram so if you want to upgrade it eventually you will have to completely replace the two that it comes with rather than adding to it. It's got a fairly new socket type for the cpu, so upgrading to an i7(same socket) will be possible however I doubt you will ever need to do it, I haven't found a game yet that I can't run on max settings.

I believe this is one of the best premade machines you can get for the value, just make sure it gets cleaned out occasionally because dust buildup is a little more of a thing with this machine due to the vents all over the case. Just google proper cleaning instructions to minimize static(static can ruin any part in it) and you'll be alright.

can you play world of warcraft etc games like these with no lag on high settings?

It's capable to play MMO's with a good ISP provider out of the box.  Playing Guild wars 2 with mostly High graphics settings but not maxed settings. Though, have a PING of 33ms, Download speed of 94.66 mbps and Upload speed of 1.62 mbps. So having a fast internet connection is a major factor.

I just purchased this computer and it's now asking me to enter the Windows 8 Product Key to activate windows.  Does anyone know where to find the product key?  I don't see it on the CD or any of the booklets they sent.

There should be a sticker on the side of the Computer, might be near the back but should on the top of the panel. Why companies ruin all computer cases they sell is past me but they always place the sticker on the side.

Would this be a good PC for someone who is starting to get into PC gaming and possibly streaming and editing down the road with upgrades?

Yes.. It's performance is more than adequate to start... And while mine died after a year... Due to my own mistakes... The motherboard is tough as nails... The processor is amazing and it plays skyrim second life and many other graphics intensive games no problems... If your just getting started and not looking to upgrade it much, this machine as it is is an amazing buy and well worth what I paid for it

Specification says that PSU is only 350W, is that actually true?

Mine has 450 watt thermaltake.  More than adequate for the stock configuration.  Just realize it doesnt have a monster video card
