at what time does this work like in COD or battlefield would it be like gun flash?

It works in Battlefield 3 and 4 but does slow gameplay unlees you have some graphics turned down or a killer rig.
The lights are not optimized for many games and makes gameplay choppy.

The Aurora Synesthesia add on works to give lighting effect to games also. i find it gives less performance issuses.

In all honesty, any game with top notch graphics and lighting effects Ive disabled Ambx for performance issues. I keep synesthesia running in background on illuminate mode with the candle effect during most games at night, then i dont need room lights and glare.

Works well with movies also.

Bottom line. this is not a plug and play. you will need the aurora add on, and you will need to figure out which games work best with/without it.
