I want to setup a wireless network that has strong, reliable coverage in a large house completely built of concrete (walls, floors, etc.). First I want to install a powerful router, and extend its range with these range extenders. Would a good router, and these range extenders do the trick? Do you any other wireless solutions (routers, extenders, other hardware)? What is the best router to use with these range extenders?

You can use a multitude of routers and range extenders. It really depends on were you will have your routers (preferably wireless). My setup has internet entering one house to a cable modem, then wireless router. This router runs an immediate computer and wireless in that area, it is then ran to another wireless router (in a second home) that is used to run a network hard drive, desktop, media hub (in theater), and connected to a third router on the second floor that is used as a wireless access point, a second wired media hub, PS3, and Dish Sat receiver. I ended up not using the range extender after putting the third wireless router up stairs.

Can I use 2 of the same D-Link DAP-1520 range extenders at the same time on the same router?

I believe connecting two, or more, range extenders directly to the same router should be no different than accessing its wireless signal with two or more client devices:  laptop, phone, tablet, etc.

There would be two precautions to observe, however:  
1. Do not connect the second extender to the first one (connect each to the router's WiFi signal).
2. Use unique SSIDs for all three devices (for example ABCD-2.4G, ABCD-5G [router], ABCD-EXT1-2.4G, ABCD-EXT1-5G [extender 1], ABCD-EXT2-2.4G, ABCD-EXT2-2.4G [extender 2]).

Is The D-Link AC750 compatible with a lynksys G2.4 Router?

Yes, it should be fine, it covers the existing bands so you are good for this router.
Plus if you ever replace your router it will cover the N bands of the newer routers.
I have been very pleased with the performance of this extender.

Question 4

I have an AT&T router and I'm having problems with connecting the AC750 range extender to my Windows XP computer.  The quick setup method did not work as per the enclosed instructions.  I would appreciate help with the setup.  ???

plug in extender
press the reset button on the extender
quickly press the rest button on the router
within 2-5 minutes the glow light on the extender should change from yellow to green--

Can this be connected wireless  to a hotspot?

I'm fairly sure that you can. It's like connecting any other device to your WiFi. If I remember correctly, you have to connect your computing device of choice to the Extender. Then, you can connect to Extender to the WiFi. I don't remember any problems setting it up. BUT, it will occasionally be dropped and reconnected by your router, just like any other device.

Will this work with a Verison Fios router?

Yes.  I tested it using a Vizn FIOS router and it worked fine.
