D-Link DFE-530TX+ Fast Ethernet Adapter 10/100Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45

Pros: Went on a ASUS 690V motherboard due to onboard ethernet device went out after a monsoon. Went in perfect, drivers worked with Windows X64 and XP 32bit OS. Easy install.

Cons: None

Pros: Works with my smoothwall box which is Linux.

Cons: None that I can see

Pros: Works perfectly with FreeNAS 7.1. Great transfer rate. Includes retail packaging, WOL cable and Low Profile Adapter.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: NewEgg remains awesome.

Pros: I've been using DFE-530TX+ cards for a long time - it works with just about any operating system under the sun (BSD, Linux, Windows going back to at least 95). Cheap, reliable, and very, very stable. They haven't changed the design as far as I can tell for several years - which can be a great benefit for network support.

Cons: No built-in BootROM, but that would also make it more expensive.

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to

Overall Review: Not really much to say about it. I got it quickly and it does it's intended job.

Overall Review: PURCHASED SEVERAL AND THEY WORK IN ALL BRANDS OF PC. THE BEST OF THE REST. NEVER HAD A DOA. OK , D-LINK, YOU CAN SEND ME A COMPLIMENTARY ONE NOW. lol

Pros: Linux Redhat 9 recognized this immediately as a VT6105.

Cons: Did not recognize this as a Realtek 8139(D) as a previous review had indicated although I have a REV2!

Overall Review: I bought this as a Realtek 8139 replacedment, primarily for Linux servers. We had to load using a 3C905 card, doing a remote boot, and then after the os is loaded, we remove this card and put in the 530TX+ card (VT6105) and Kudzu removes old and installs new and migrates settings.

Pros: On-board Intel NIC died for no reasons. I got a D-LINK wireless router working smoothly for years and decided to try its NIC for this time. Surprisingly I experienced faster than on-board nic speed(I thought it would have no difference theoretically ). Easy installation for various windows OS even without the driver CD. With this price, what can I say?

Cons: Lastest driver is in the CD with the box not online.

Overall Review: This is Revision F2 with Realtek 8139(D) chip. Unless you're biased against Realtek, I think it's every good chip itself. Rememeber to secure your cable.
