Anyone tried this card with PFsense? If so, any compatibility issues?

It works fine with pfsense, but if you have 100Mbps internet or faster you'll want to go with a newer card that has cpu offloading, probably a gigabit card. This card can't quite keep up when torrenting especially, only able to sustain about 70Mbps, and at the expense of all other network traffic.  It performed very well when I was using it on my 30Mbps connection, though.

I want to connect to my Internett tv (Samsung ). Can I use my D-link DFE-530TX? Is this a "AP having DHCP server" ???

This card is for a desktop PC, creating a wired connection to a broadband modem or a router with a cat 5 network cable.

It will not install in a TV to get a TV Online.

"An ap having a DHCP server" means a wireless broadband router for the TV to get Internet access from.  AP = Access Point.

Next we need to know if your TV has wireless built in, or if you have to get a USB wireless adapter to link the TV to your AP (router.)

So please read up on your TV & find out if it has built in wireless, or if you'll need a USB Wireless Adapter.

You could also call the TV manufacturer - just Google them.
