Hey Jerry, this should work. considering your model of machine;s motherboard has 2 PCI slots. one thing to take into consideration though is what operating system you are currently running? if its windows 7 you will want to use the driver that can be downloaded from d-links website. versus the one that comes on the install media provided with the NIc card.

   I work in IT and have almost 200 computers in my charge.  I got this D-Link card while trying to find a card that would install in Windows 7 64-bit easily.  Windows 7 has caused me some problems with installs of hardware and printers.  This card installed like a dream.  Load the drivers, stick in the card and Boom!! It is working.  It should do the same with Vista.

It appears the 528t is the small form card.  Meaning the piece of metal that houses the plug where you plug in the network cable is smaller than one for a regular computer.
