Pros: Power line adapter gets rid of unslightly wires and is relatively simple to set up.
Cons: Manual setup is the only way to go. Their wizard never worked right for me. THE UNIT DROPPED INTERNET every day or so and had to run the setup stuff all over again. Before returning for warranty replacement, I checked D-Link's website and discovered a firmware upgrade. Once done, the problems disappeared.
Overall Review: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to upgrade firmware if you have version 1.00NA. The 1.01NA upgrade is much better!
Pros: Affordable, Great option for those people that need a solution for extending the network range through the A/C adapters.
Simple to setup.
Low cost.
Cons: Reliability: So far this has not been a reliable router. I tend to have several computers to be booted off the network for no reason. I reset everything to default and I still have my computers lose connectivity.
You get what you pay for.
Overall Review: Well I purchased this router on one of newegg's amazing sales; and at first things worked great when it arrived. But a day later I noticed connectivity errors between my computers. I have tried to tune the settings and have still had no luck on keeping my computers connected. I am definitely contemplating RMAing this router and getting one that is more reliable.

Terrible Product--DO NOT BUY9/2/2017 7:27:02 AM
Pros: It is a router.
Cons: Difficult to install. No warranty available and only support that you can pay for according to the listed 800 number I called. D-Link does not list this router on their web site anymore and the literature along with the router said year 2010.
Overall Review: I uninstalled this router after one week of poor service and went back to my old router. I do not recommend this product.
Decent router, WiFi lockup issues2/15/2017 11:13:10 AM
Pros: - Low Price, PowerLine functionality
Cons: - After updating the firmware as advised by many other reviews here it worked great for 3 months then the WiFi started locking up. Had to power-cycle the router for it to come back. This was nearly a daily event after just a few months.
Overall Review: Good router with updated firmware, but prone to WiFi lockups that progressively become worse with time.
Cons: Drops wireless several times a day. Have to reset router.
Overall Review: I worked through D-Link support and they determined it is defective hardware. I'm very afraid they'll just send me another one and I'll spend my days waiting for that one to die.
Pros: 1. Newegg had it for an awesome price with the powerline adapter
2. Does what it's supposed it. Before I had a dead spot on the other side of the house, now with the powerline adapter, I can provide connectivity there with almost no wires (barring the power cable).
3. Fast, quick. No need to reboot regularly.
4. Easy set up.
Cons: 1. Probably not worth regular price.
Overall Review: Range is not special. It's not much different as compared to my Verizon Fios router.
