I want to use this one and also I want to have wifi in the house. Is it possible? Will both work at the same time?

hi Raja M, the answer to question is yes, everything works fine in my house, I used the 309av to supply internet to a apple Mini computer all the way in the back, also a third adapter is in the works with a PS3 and they all works just like the connection straight from the the AT&T Modem

as we speak I'm streaming my music (WIFI) from my computer using  PLEX software via the Roku box to my HT system, so far so good,.... its all good

i have the only one  panel in my house, so it works as advertised, but according to this adapter nature I think it would work, just find a correct panel for your electric plug.

will this device work plugged into and extension vs. directly into the wall?  And, it does not need to be on the same branch through the circuit breaker box?

My devices are plugged directly into the outlets so I can't say for sure about using an extension cord.  Extension cords typically use stranded copper wire vs. solid copper wire, but both types are used for network cabling.  I imagine it would depend on what length of extension cord you're looking at using as to how it might impact any performance.

The two devices I have are definitely not on the same circuit branch/breaker in my house and I have had no performance or connection issues.

What speeds can these handle, I just want to upgrade my pc from wireless connection to wired?

My internet speed is up to 104 Mbps and I usually average around 93 Mbps. Now that being said, these adapters work great but your internet speed will very depending on how far away from your router you have it plugged in. When I had my router on the other side of the house and down stairs with my computer up stairs on the opposite end I averaged about 20 mbps. But when I moved the router and modem up stairs to the room next to my computer it jumped to 70 mbps. So it can handle any speed you put through it but the more wiring the Internet has to run through in your house the slower the speed will get.

Where is the ethernet connections placed i thought this was a plug into elec outlet product ? Not sure i understand

This product expands your existing wired network through the electrical outlets.  You would plug in one of the powerline adapters to an electrical outlet near your router and connect the this it to the the router via an ethernet cable.  Then you can plug in the other powerline adapter anywhere in your house (providing the eletrical wiring is all connected) and you will have wired ethernet through this second powerline.  The purpose of the product is to avoid running cat5 (ethernet) cable through your walls and ceilings.  Instead you are using the existing electrical wiring to carry the signal for your network.

if you need a direct ethernet connection, it would only be one computer.  if you are outputting it to an additional wireless router or wireless extender, you can connect as many computers as you want via wifi.

If you have an plug adapter for the electrical prongs it will. The units that I purchased have a voltage/frequency operational range of 100 to 240 VAC / 50 to 60 Hz.

This adapter is agnostic to service provider. It simply takes an Ethernet connection from one point to another via power lines in the building.
