If you go the item page at Newegg, scroll down a bit and choose the "Specifications" tab, the dimensions are given. I have confirmed that they are correctly stated: It is compact.

How long is the provided USB cable?

It is slightly less than 5 feet: ~58.5" (~149 cm). Worth noting is that it is a proprietary cable, so you won't find a longer replacement just anywhere (I do not know if they exist).

I suppose you could you a USB3 extension cable, but I don't think I would use more than 10 feet total cable length to ensure maximum throughput. I have not tested this.

Does it work with Mac OS?

I do not have a Mac to try this hub on, so I am not sure.

But, if you check the USB protocols or specifications that your Mac and its current OS will accept against the USB protocols listed on the D-Link web site for this hub and find that any of them match, then there is a good chance that this device will work on a Mac running that OS.

If there is no match, then this hub will not work with your Mac.

How many amps does the power supply give? I'm hoping for 3.5a
