I like the size, and the ease to build in.
- Can run all my Steam library (most recent game Streetfighter 6, rest older than that), in 4K at 160 FPS. - Able to fit the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Twin Edge OC - Accomodates 10 TB of m.2 SSD (4+4+1+1) in it. - 92nd percentile overall Passmark benchmark. - The Beast's footprint is so small on my desk as you can see in the picture. More processing power per cubic centimeter than any other desktop machine I know.
- able to fit both my 3050 and 3060, from MSI, along with my PNY A2000 in the case - easy to follow instructions with very clear pictures - incredible cooling - easy disassembly and assembly - 4 NVME slots - removable intake duct for the CPU cooler to allow for another PCIe card to be installed
$ for $ you can get considerably more power with this than you do with a NUC Thermals are great i3 8100 idling in the mid 20Cs in a semi heated basement.
I love how compact these Shuttles are and have wanted to build one for almost sixteen years. I have a 1070, 7770K, and two SSDs inside this thing and it plays anything I throw at it at 1080p. It was a lot of fun to assemble too although it is a bit challenging owing to the compact space in which you have to work. As it is so small, it is a joy to simply pick up and move around should you want to reconfigure your office/room.
