This video card was purchased to provide CUDA support. The product being replayed was a Radeon RX 580, which I could not utilize CUDA functionality. The GeForce RTX 3060 does support the CUDA functionality. My primary use is astrophotography image processing in the PixInsight application (Russell Crowman's Xterminator plugins). This VGPU acceleration executes those time consuming tasks 10x faster.
Doubles the speed of my 3070ti. Looks amazing. Adrenaline software has really good tuning capabilities.
It works for 1440p pretty well even if it's not high-end.
It's pretty fast and stays cool. Upgraded from a gtx 1060 and it's a pretty big difference.
Worked right out of the box Overclocks like a beast (Mine is averaging over 3000 MHZ!) Quiet Looks great

12GB GDDR7 VRAM → enough for most AI models without constant offloading. DLSS 4.0 cores & Tensor cores → strong acceleration for AI inference and training. PCIe 5.0 → high bandwidth for moving large datasets. Efficient cooling → stable during long AI jobs.
Overall, it was an amazing upgrade from my 2060, which I then upgraded to a 3070 and have now sold both. It has insane 1440p performance, and FSR4 is also amazing. It is definitely getting closer to DLSS and pretty on par with DLSS 3.5.
Performs way above expectations! Quiet. Great price.
-reasonable price -8gb of VRAM -really huge heat sink
all 906 ROPS reported I love this card.
Pretty fast. Got it the same week. In the future, I will look for Newegg products, shipped by Newegg. That seems to be sweet spot. GPU came out looking fresh. No defects, just a solid product.
I'm getting 70-100 FPS in Hogwarts Legacy at 1080p ultra, raytracing reflections on ultra, RT shadows on high, and RT geometry on high. No FSR, no upscaling, for FG. Just native frames. I never hear it.
Stability +++ --> This may not be crucial for others, but for me I was dealing with instant pc shutdowns on my old asrock 6950xt OC Formula. I dropped in the 5070TI and so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it. OCCT power test, Heaven, 3DMark, Cinemabench. All the scores look good. Easy Install - Install and driver installation were a breeze. Performance ++ --> Great performance gains over my old card.
I have been a Linux user for a while and an Nvidia fan guy. But after the 4000's and 5000's both had the same problem of burn your house down melting connectors. I decided to try AMD again. I heard The open source Mesa driver was working well so I gave it a try. I could not be more happy. This video card is awesome!!! Also my computer is booting faster without the Nvidia blob installed. I also used the newegg trade in program and got $200 bucks back for my 3060!
Bought this card when it finally started to get close to MSRP for the first time since it came out for a theater PC. Most of the use I wanted was a decent card that could play easy games at 4k, and included HDMI 2.1, and AV1 encoding. Any demanding game, I have just been streaming from my main PC, but with both PC's having AV1, the quality is real close to native. I've been very impressed thus far with this card, and I have a 7900XTX in the main PC. It's been able to do more than I excepted at 4k, capping out a few games at the 120 fps that were a surprise. That extra 4 gigs of vram makes this card a no brainer over a 9060XT 8G/3050, which are the only other cards around this price point. No driver issues as of yet, the intel software is simple and easy to use, and has more control over the OC profiles than I was expecting. Even has fan tuning/voltage control included, which seems to work flawlessly so far. As for the partner model, no issues with this specific card so far. Good thermals, running nice and quiet, just as it should for a card of this power level, looks decent, with no fancy lighting which I prefer for cards of this price. Large flow through area, actually making use of the enhanced cooling that feature can offer.
I went from a 3090Ti that made a lot of noise and actually made my office hot. It worked but used lots of power. To gauge the true power of this card I would need a faster display but despite that it still outperformed the 3090Ti by over 25% without frame regen. Stable card and unlike my 3090 is doesn't crash. Fast, stable and reliable pretty much sums it up
Pros: Good cooler on it Low temps Included stand is quality Didnt expect it to have RGB and it does Its pretty Quiet fans MSI software is fairly solid Good price point, the other MSI gaming trio 5070 ti (the oc plus) is the same card, but hundreds more
Great design Sag bracket included Will heat up you house in the winter!
It works great.
