Runs cool Runs fast Great gpu size
It's been installed as an upgrade from a 6950XT for a week now - operating flawlessly and relatively cool at about 60C when under full load. Seeing about a 30-40 percent increase in frame rates at 2K resolution without using FSR enhancements too - awesome!
Runs well for 1080p gaming, 100+ fps with max settings on certain games. Quiet, no noticeable noise while playing. Runs at ideal temperatures, 75°C at 100%.
Fits nicely in a 10L formd t1 mini itx case High quality build Dual bios available with a switch to select "silent" or "performance" 12vhpw warning led, if not pluged in properly, there'll be red warning led light
Runs like a dream, a bit smaller than I anticipated it being but still very powerful to say the least, I've had absolutely no issues with it at all since I've installed in into my PC
Bought at MSRP. The prime models seem to come with phase-change GPU thermal pads. This effectively means you will never have to repaste. Although time will tell. Have all ROPs. Running with 9800X3D. Based on benchmarks do not see a need for 5080.
Installation was simple. Remove the older card, insert newer card, plug in power.
Very quiet and runs pretty cool. Highest it went was 63C while playing KCD2 in 4k.
So far even at full utilization, the temps are quite low ~30-60c.
- Runs cooler. Even for my country which is usually around 32°C, the card on idle stat at 42-45° and full usage goes to 70°C. At nights it goes lower as 60°C for full usage so the card runs coole with no refrigeration cooling. - Runs all current 2023 games without issues. For 1080 they run easily in high/ultra and for 1440p some in mid-high. - Installation is easy. - Quite small compared to other cards. - Is not noisy even with fan at 100% - Its cheaper than 3060 and it performs on the same level as the 8gb version. Also better than 2060 and 2070. ofc depends if the game is better optimized for nvidia or amd as well . Tested with Horizon Zero Dawn, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Division 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter World, GoW and they all perform excellent in this card. - No RGB. I got enough RGB on the RAM, fans, so no more rgb needed honestly. It could be a CON for people who love RGB on every hardware.
1)Find out what rtx on looks like without eating ramen noodles for the rest of the month. 2)very quiet. 3)Better than my 1080 gpu. 4)No regrets
This is an amazing card. It is fast out of the box. It runs cool. It can be over clocked and under volted very easily with MSI Afterburner.
Great performance Quiet Small form factor
This thing is built like an Abrams tank. Once you have the drivers loaded it gives wicked fast frame rates for gaming at 1440p on my TUF gaming monitor. Less RGB actually makes it standout more in my PC case that already lit up like a Christmas tree. The TUF logos are everywhere in components in my case, which is also a TUF. Asus TUF is a great line and is only getting better with these Gforce 5000 series. Would I have liked to have had a RTX 5090? Sure, but they cost more than my entire PC build combined, so the RTX 5080 is a nice compromise. My frame rate has gone up four fold from my previous build.
Paid $50 over msrp so not too bad and coming from a 6600xt the performance boost has been insane at 1440p. I have it in an nr200, so it's not in a big case but the thermals have been outstanding so far and it's a very quiet gpu. I don't think I've seen it hit 70° once. The highest I've see the memory hit was 80°. Card overclocks and undervolts well if you're into that. I undervolted mine and it never goes over 187 watts with no noticeable performance loss. I already loved the adrenaline software before so that's another +
- Runs cool and quiet. Even under full load, I haven't seen it go above 65 C. - Solid build quality. Looks very good in a black case; understated, but still sleek. Not super gamer-fied. Back-plate is metal, heat-sink feels substantial - Compatibility and stability is much, MUCH improved over the A-series cards. - Plays my games at 1440p 60+ FPS in basically every situation I've run into (my library is older, and I haven't messed with any UE5 titles, bear in mind).
really elegant design- a little "smaller" it is still massive and heavy but maybe more accommodating to more cases dual bios powerful it is the most powerful gpu on the market it is a beast
The PPT/TDC limits on this card out of box is higher than other 7900XTXs allowing it to boost higher in games and other applications. With some additional tweaking in AMD Adrenaline software, performance improves while temperatures are still kept in check at low fan noise thanks to the better than reference cooler. There is no coil whine with my particular setup with this card as well which is nice. In 3DMark Timespy, it scores 34k which is way more than the 4080 Super and almost close to the 4090. It shreds through games like Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, and the other latest games at 1440p 165hz or 4k 120hz HDR at a fraction of the price of what Nvidia is charging.
