- New GPU to replace my weary RX 5700 - More memory - Raytracing?
Great performance!! can play in 4k handles ray tracing in most games even new games ! AMD adrenaline has been fixed and updated to be better suited like NVDIA's software super quite rgb is hella nice !! Great looking card!!! BESTLOOKING 9070XT IN MY OPINION!!

I managed to get the card for around 450 after shipping and taxes and it came within a week. Can play all of my games no issues whatsoever. Just make sure you look up how to configure your settings to get the most out of your card and you should be golden.
12GB GDDR7 VRAM → enough for most AI models without constant offloading. DLSS 4.0 cores & Tensor cores → strong acceleration for AI inference and training. PCIe 5.0 → high bandwidth for moving large datasets. Efficient cooling → stable during long AI jobs.
This cards plays 1440p with no problem
Works better than my old GPU, Although the only problem I had thus far was with the pc game Shadow of the Tomb Raider but I managed to fix the problem anyways.. No problem here that I have found yet anyways!!
- Strong performance - Power efficient - Runs cool (60 C MAX) - Quiet fan curve
Good cooling. Quiet.
-Card runs cool and quiet, no coil whine even during stress tests -Haven't done much OC yet besides an auto Adrenalin boost, but temps didn't seem to rise much at a 100+ GPU clock boost and also very stable -Aesthetically it might be the best looking GPU unit I've ever seen, but that's just IMO -Hidden power connector is really quite clever and makes my case look so much cleaner -RGB bar is really bright and looks great! Had to turn it down to lowest brightness through Trixx to match my RAM and CPU AIO RGBs, which both are at max brightness -Runs games great at 4K, some older at native, others on FSR Ultra Quality or Quality -FSR 4 and the 9000 series show a lot of promise at getting AMD closer to Nvidia on Ray and Path Tracing without tanking FPS, as this card is at or exceeds the 7900XTX in FPS for both according to tests
Everything runs so much easier with my RX 6600, speechless at how easy it was to set up.
-An overclocking beast -Great value for the price
The 9060 xt runs at half the load (48% vs 89%) and 35 degrees cooler (65C vs 100C) than my 5700 xt for MSFS 2020. The game's frame rate picked up very noticably after upgrading to a 5700x3d so the 5700 xt became a bottleneck. Installation was fairly easy. I used DDU to remove graphics drivers and settings but it seems the AMD installation software is able to remove ghost drivers with the GPU factory reset option.
Pretty fast. Got it the same week. In the future, I will look for Newegg products, shipped by Newegg. That seems to be sweet spot. GPU came out looking fresh. No defects, just a solid product.
Stability +++ --> This may not be crucial for others, but for me I was dealing with instant pc shutdowns on my old asrock 6950xt OC Formula. I dropped in the 5070TI and so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it. OCCT power test, Heaven, 3DMark, Cinemabench. All the scores look good. Easy Install - Install and driver installation were a breeze. Performance ++ --> Great performance gains over my old card.
Great Temps Beautiful Design Perfect Size
I have been a Linux user for a while and an Nvidia fan guy. But after the 4000's and 5000's both had the same problem of burn your house down melting connectors. I decided to try AMD again. I heard The open source Mesa driver was working well so I gave it a try. I could not be more happy. This video card is awesome!!! Also my computer is booting faster without the Nvidia blob installed. I also used the newegg trade in program and got $200 bucks back for my 3060!
-1440p gaming
Excellent card for 1440p. Runs cool and haven't had any issues with any games. Max out all the sliders and then turn off all that blur/shake nonsense. So far no issue with the 12V power connector but I'll keep an eye on it.
-Great clock speeds, this card is already OC'd and overclocks with Nvidia App to 100+ core and 200+ VRam, not even using Afterburner (Oh, BTW, for any holdouts who didn't want to use Nvidia App and were still just using Geforce Experience, you will have to finally start using the App because Geforce Experience will not fully utilize this card's, full functionality and settings...just an FYI.) -Does not run excessively hot, as some others claim (and, yes, I do still have wattage at 100%,) although I do have an extremely large, form factor Tower and 4 Noctua, 2 front and 2 bottom intake fans - also Noctua for cooler on 3960x CPU. -No coil whine
Its the same size as my old MSI RTX 3080TI and had the same amount of power connectors. I bought this because I no longer use Windows as an OS since its terrible. I main Fedora Linux and this worked out of the box with it. I get even better FPS than I did before, everything can be maxed out on 2k and 4k. I get so much FPS I have to limit it. My advice, is ditch the green, ditch the blue and go team red. Switch to AMD and Linux. The freedom is worth it, and games that used to stutter on windows no matter what build no longer stutter due to Linux. My build is: 5800X3D, 32 Gigs RAM 3600mhz.
