This video card was purchased to provide CUDA support. The product being replayed was a Radeon RX 580, which I could not utilize CUDA functionality. The GeForce RTX 3060 does support the CUDA functionality. My primary use is astrophotography image processing in the PixInsight application (Russell Crowman's Xterminator plugins). This VGPU acceleration executes those time consuming tasks 10x faster.
- Worked out of the box on Win 10 and Fedora 41 - WOW gaming 60 fps - Nvidia compute capability 8.9 (TensorFlow and PyTorch)
No RGB to deal with. Comes with an adjustable stand to help support the card. Preforms to expectations.
- I was able to actually buy it - Only 17% above MSRP - Decent upgrade over my old GPU - Games great in Linux (arch), 200+ fps in Satisfactory - Switch to turn off LEDs - Okay ray tracing in case a game only runs with RT (stupid game studio decision imo)
Can not beat this for the MSRP price, was $599 on release day, hopefully they keep the price as such. 1440p Max settings on all my games including raytracing is well over 100fps. CoD was running max everything around 155fps. The new system - Case - Lancool 207 CPU Cooler - Scythe 3 CPU - 9800x3d Ram - 32GB Kingston Fury Beast 6000 cl 30 Motherboard - b650 Aorus Elite Ax v2 Storage - 2x SAMSUNG 990 EVO SSD 2TB This Gpu Coming from a 5900x 6750xt build to his new build is a amazing upgrade.
-One of the fastest cards on the market! -Very reliable both based on the history of Nvidia & Asus who are known for it. -Ray Tracing is insane on new cards! -Dont be scared of the bad things you hear about the AI in the new cards I couldn't even find the "Ghosting" that people talked about and I was unable to even find it when doing what others such as Linus tech tips showed in a video with cyber punk. I think they've fixed it even more since launch.
This was an upgrade from my Sapphire Nitro 6700xt and the performance is amazing, as expected. Like some of the other reviewers, a lot of tech reviewers have basically written this card off because of the price/performance compared to the XTX, but this is still an excellent gpu and it was in stock and fit my build perfectly. Really nice that i didnt have to make other system upgrades like PSU. The reference card feels very premium compared to other third party cards ive had before. Metal backplate and black on black aesthetic are much appreciated. No driver issues like some have reported and temps are normal (doesnt really get above 60 degrees).
Around the msrp market. Way better than what other sellers are scamming people off also its a triple fan gpu
Everything I wanted, and more. This GPU (obviously) blows my old 5700xt out of the water and then some.
Amazing 1080p performance, handling most modern games on max settings with around 80-90 fps, along with 1440p capabilities. Comes with a free copy of the Callisto protocol Comes at a much lower price than other modern graphics cards

-Handles everything that I throw at it in 2k (Haven't tried 4k yet) -Beautiful design
One of the main complaints I see of this card is noise. I have yet to hear the fans engage. Im running every game on max settings 4K.
Great Price, Well made, Runs Cool, Overclocks conservativly yielding about 7% increase in frame rate.
Nice looking card, one of the best, cyborg / robot style. It is quiet and fits in the Thermaltake CTE 750 very nice. It is running on userbenchmark over 333% with a 7950x
Runs very cool, the fan setup works very well. RGB Logo is a nice touch The Control Center is easy to use Over all, I am pleased to see Gigabyte and AMD making a quality product that works awesome for COD Gaming.
Benchmark test came in slightly better than what I was expecting. I upgraded from a 4070 Super and have a 50% increase in FPS on 3DMark. Was expecting about 45%. Also, people online said that this card has fan noise when the fans stop, but I do not experience that at all.
Decent Availability, Decent Design, And Good Enough Quality
- Overall design and build quality are excellent (must have for white builds) - One of the best VRM designs for a 5090 - Excellent thermals and very quiet fans with stock fan curve - Surprising amount of overclocking headroom - +150 to 200 core offset should be easily doable - Included stand looks far better than a simple GPU stand
Great 2K graphics, with my new setup I get 109fps on RDR2 with settings on either ultra or high. I haven't tried any other games yet; I have been having too much fun with my news graphics on that one.
-Great thermals -Reflections and shadows destroyed my 3080 in game -Don't believe the hate on new DLSS if you're a single player gamer!
